Taurus Lament

Astrology in real life

pig.jpg“I’m just cursed is all,” the soldier said.  “I eat like a bird, I gain weight like a pig.”

“Yeah?”

“Yeah, and if I eat a hog, I gain weight like a double pig.”

I felt sorry for him, how about you?

    Yep.

Taurus rising. Struggled with it all my life.

Just started Body for Life though, seems to work with my Taureaness. Fits the sturdy build, calms the comfort of excess.

My sister has it a lot worse, she’s a Taurus with 1 degree of Scorp on the AC, and Neptune right on the AC, and the N. Node of the Moon in the AC (and her ac is aspected, from the 7th house, by Venus/SN and Mercury retrograde). She stays obese, she is tall also, and she manages to pull this off and have a high level professional job anyway.

My mom and I are both Taurus but we don’t have that problem although mom watches it alot. If I am working out I really don’t have a problem, I am a total veggie, no seafood, no eggs, my diet is pretty restricted, so there is a lot of stuff I can’t eat. Sweets are starches do entice, however.

I have the same problem… With the Moon in Taurus conjunct Jupiter (my chart ruler) I have to be quite careful with what I eat. On the plus side, I put on evenly, so I keep my proportions (Venus conjunct Mars in Libra) even if I expand:o)

Oh yeah-lament. Jupiter in Taurus first house opposition moon. I maintain pretty well with it too, but if I stop exercising or start feeling sad and eat in excess. . .

I completely agree with you. there are few worse things than not being able to enjoy food without gaining weight.
