Shaina asks on Attraction Theory:

“Do you think that you and the soldier were separated for a whole Saturn cycle in order to make room for the other people you had to learn from?

Just wondering.”

Shaina, that’s a good question on too large for my mind to comprehend though the soldier did comment on this once. Not sure if he still feels this way but some time ago he said he felt we had every chance to be together.

He said he felt perhaps God put us together, gave us each other, gave us real love and gave us every chance to do something about it but we just couldn’t catch on. We were just too young - We took everything for granted, including each other. And we were volatile as hell which he also thought might have been a factor.

“Look at these two,” he imagined God’s voice. “They don’t know what they’re doing. I give them this, I give them that and look what they do with it…”

At one point we were playing with something super-naturally dangerous without a care in the world and the soldier feels when God saw us doing that he decided that was it. “I’ve got to separate these two before they kill themselves, never mind a bunch of other people. Just look at them screw off. Those kids don’t know what they’re doing and they aren’t going to get anything done if I leave them together. He thinks God had plans for both of us and just had no choice but to separate us so we could do some of the things he needed plus grow up a little - Or a lot.

On this same theme, it has emerged into both our consciousness that he’d have never survived 16 years in Special Forces had he been with me. He’d have been too distracted, he is certain so he imagines God both needed the things he did, plus did not want him killed so this is what happened.

And he feels that coming back together now, we are more mature but mostly we are grateful that we get this second chance. We are full of gratitude and I am telling you we will not be separated again and anyone who thinks otherwise is enormously misguided.

In the soldier’s paradigm we will not be separated ever. Not this life or the next or the next or the next. We are together now and that’s it. This life the soldier and P. Next life the soldier and whoever but it will be me. He thinks we will recognize each other see? Because he believes there is only one soul for every other soul and we are paired… Period.

Consequently while it was his preference we be together this life, he could live with otherwise because he was certain the universe would continue to throw us together until we figured it out and time to him… well he’s been around a long, long, long time so he doesn’t really worry about a lifetime or two or three.

As it turned out we managed to get together this life… it took us almost five years from when we first got in contact and you wouldn’t believe the trials.

It’s the Rhino and P, all right.  Put your money down.

So there you go, Shaina. That’s his story and while it is not mine I find it hard to disagree.
