I posted the last blog and then walked into the living room where the soldier was lying on his back playing Neopets of all things. He likes all the G-rated stuff.

“I was thinking about how you said men had to scout a woman before they went after her?”

“Yeah when you find out what hard labor it is.”

“So is that what you were doing when you read my blog for 3 years?” I said, heading into the kitchen.

“No, Panizzon. I already knew you.”

I set down my cup and came back out to the living room to see his face swirling around. I swear his face swirls when he lies to me. “You’re lying. You’re a lyin’ dog, that’s exactly what you were doing,” I said grinning. “You and your operations.”

“Now, P, I never did that. I did not do that.”

I got on the floor to look closely at his swirling face. “Yeah, right.”

“P, I am not lying. Look at these eyes,” he said opening his eyes wide over his glasses with his face still swirling. “Just look at these eyes, P, are these the eyes of someone lying to you?”

I smiled and shook my head at the lying dog because let’s face it - I do like him the way he is, jackass and all.
