The Limits Of Denial… This Is Where I Draw The Line

Astrology in real life

broccoli.jpgSpeaking of my Saturn (limits) Neptune (denial) nature, yesterday I learned it only goes so far.

I was making or trying to make the synastry videos on Monday before I headed off to one of those meetings. I got the first two in the can but struggled with the third either because I fumbled something, I was waaaay to emphatic or I was otherwise interrupted.

For example my phone kept ringing and I was not in a position where I could turn it off and this chaos was reflected in the sky of course in the form or hard aspects to my Mars Mercury conjunct. Er… try to just talk, not pound people into the ground and never mind the jarring interference and the ticking clock. This was the scenario but I finally, finally got the third video done and then went off to my appointment.

Turns out I can’t use it though because later I replayed it in advance of loading so I could title the thing and there I was talking with broccoli in my teeth. I leaned forward and peered at the screen closely. Yep. Broccoli all right.

“Maybe people won’t notice,” I thought hopefully because I did not, not, not want to do that thing over but there I was talking and flashing my teeth - broccoli, once, twice, three times… oh never mind. It was obvious I could not use the take so I just shook my head and noted where the lines are.

My denial can deal with my hair smushed or going in all directions. I can deal with crooked lipstick, cockeyed eyebrows, bra straps showing, but I draw the line at green specks in my teeth and this just pissed me off! Because I was trying to hard to get that thing done and when I became stressed I decided to EAT something and because I am trying to stop eating like a pig in my stressful condition, I chose broccoli. Now I think I should have had a donut, don’t you?

In whatever case I am going to get back on topic as soon as I can. ::rolls eyes:: I have another meeting and consultations scheduled today so delay, delay.

ROFL!! Know the feeling well . . . there just are times when ya gotta tear it ALL out and start over. I’m referring to knitting but the same applies to any creative project. There’s a damn good reason for the “99% perspiration, 1% inspiration” saying. :)

Could a had a V8, Hah! Hah! Hah!

No, really, I am sorry for your loss and thank you for sharing! As a person who creates energetic things that have to meet certain standards lest they be destroyed and rendered useless, I empathize (and so do appreciate your humor even at your own potential expense). That is just too damn funny to NOT share, yet most people wouldn’t have shared it!

On a different topic, but speaking of Neptune representing denial??? My sister (only sibling!) has Neptune Retrograde in Scropio 2 degrees applying to her Ascendent Scorpio 1 degree? I get this e-mail from her yesterday telling me that, nowadays (and forevermore) all she does with my e-mail is delete them unread.

She stated, “I thought you might need to know.” She is doing this because she doesn’t want to read things that might upset her, so talk about denial! Wow! Just click it away. I mean, I could see someone doing this if it is your blog and some stranger is being a troll, but …

I needed to talk to her about mom, and we are not allowed to call the only phone she has which is a work blackberry thingie that is only for the sacred work people (or if someone dropped dead, I guess, cause she’d drop everything and everyone to get over here for an her part of the inheritance).

So yeah, man, sis, thanks a lot for clicking me out but I have a little news for you. when your head is in the sand, the bad things keep happening anyway, then baby doll, don’t come cryin’ to me with your sentimental regrets.

I need a new sister, damn it! But that won’t happen so I will be happy with funny stories about the trials and tribulations of life, donuts, and broccoli!

Elsa - on a practical note, and because I love you, popcorn, boiled potatoes, some rice and beans pre-cooked, carrot sticks and humous, hardboiled eggs -

I’m so with you on the things getting stressed and then dashing around to eat something healthy -anything - but not having the wherewithall to cook/prepare, or even think about it - so this is what I try to do. Have this on hand, in the fridge -

And the only threat to your teeth are probably the carrots - your choice, orange or green teeth decor

:)

I always tell someone when they have a visible booger or something in their teeth, even after this exchange:

Me: “you have some spinach in your teeth. a green thing.”

Person I’m talking to: “it’s an emerald.

Me: “oh, sorry.”

I figure I would like to know.
