Sun Conjunct Saturn @ 8 Years Old - The Power Of The Pen: Storytelling (Jupiter) As Savior To Capricorn And Saturn Types

Astrology in real life

libra angelMy son has begun to cartoon his life. He draws what he sees the way he sees it and I am freakishly happy because I know firsthand how telling stories invokes Jupiter which acts as anecdote to the Saturn blues.

My son really has had a terrifically difficult life starting from the time he was 4 days old and seeing him with this outlet… well I just know he will blossom and be okay.

A few weeks ago he was threatening to draw his Mom burping and I think he has caught on to the power of all this. Got a problem with your mother? Draw her burping and watch her Libra flip out! There. All better.

This started when he was 4 years old. My daughter had been picking on him not stop as she was prone to do and apparently he had just had enough. Never in his life had he retaliated but he was PISSED and he grabbed a piece of paper and drew a picture of a tic.

Yeah, a tic. He drew a big circle on the page with a little tiny head and little bitty lines for arms and legs and wrote “BIG TIC MOSTACCIOLIA” across it. That’s my daughter’s screen name and yes my kid could write when he was 4, but anyway he took this paper and stomped up to her… mad in his veins.

“What?” she said snottily to her little brother.

“This is you! This is you, you big tic!”

Well she went crazy. She just came unglued and I could not help myself - I started to laugh. About time he stood up to her but anyway she got so upset… she got sooooooo upset I guess he felt bad so he took the paper back and I thought this was genius:

He drew a line through the middle of the big circle and told her he was only kidding.

“Actually this is Cory’s butt,” he said. “I was drawing a picture of Cory’s butt.”

capricornWell Cory was a neighbor boy and their mutual enemy so she thought that was funny as hell and she calmed right down. So there you have it. Right there he learned what you can do with a pen and if my son is every a famous cartoonist, you will have the back story.

But other than that, I just thought this is a good idea for Capricorn / Saturn types at least it works for me and it works for my son. They are not problems you are having, they are the fuel for your creativity.

As my sister (who is psychic) told me 15 years ago… I was going to meet my potential inlaws, “They better not piss you off too bad,” she said.

“Or what?”

“Or they’ll wind up in your book.”

I hadn’t written a word in my life at the time but she told me I would and when I did all kinds of people would read it.

“Yeah, you’re going to be writing books and if someone pisses you off enough to get in one of them, they will never live it down.”

I looked at her like she was crazy and she looked at me as if I were same which pretty much describes the relationship right there.

But point is Capricorn, anyone can do anything to you and the more the better if you are busy developing their character in your story.

Do you have a creative outlet?

    I’m working on it.

Not like that. Stuff that I make tends to be from someone else’s design (knitting or cross stitch, usually). I don’t make things up completely out of my own head. Even when I did write reams of rotten fiction as a kid and young adult, I didn’t consciously put people I knew into it; all the characters were me, in one way or another.

indeed. and i can attest to the problems becoming characters and creative fuel.

    Oh boy, do I ever.
I write better when Rage, Pure!, is my fuel :p

yes. I know without a shadow of a doubt I’d be dead without my creative outlets. Multiple deaths.

I do have a friend who use to claim he wasn’t creative but he is a brilliant writer and throws parties like you wouldn’t believe: themes, costumes, debauchery (ha) and is so talented at entertaining other people…that is a creative act (and fits in with your idea I believe). He’s starting to come around to the idea that living creatively is more than the usual suspects.

yes. don’t indulge often enough, but i have several.

the easiest is always dancing, though. i don’t need tools. just boots for good traction (when i can’t go barefoot) and some music ;)

Yes definitely. Usually write, dance or play piano. I occasionally draw and wish I would more often.

So glad you son has found a powerful way to do deal.
