   Finishing my house: just installed wood flooring which took a few days longer than anticipated…so now have to sand, finish, install molding, blah, blah, blah….I realized yesterday I am only half way done…..and all needs to be done in the next few weeks! But life is still amazingly good. It’s good that it is getting done and I am moving and all the change that is and will be my life this year. It’s just so large like jupiter and fast like it’s mars fueled!

   My SO is gone this week…so sex is also on the mind…ahhh….

   I think I might be conquering some fear of success that has been unknown to me until now.

   I also have a list of things to do sitting right next to me, and among things like “taxes” “oil change” “dentist” I have “mountain” (how Cappy of me). It just makes me laugh and laugh.

   The back story is that there’s a mountain around here that someone told me to go check out, so I put it down, but lo and behold, it’s also literally, what I do all the time . . . climb, climb, climb . . .

   We were in Derry today, across the border into Northern Ireland. John pointed out places where bombs had gone off and riots had happened. There was one pub where he and his best friend nearly were hit by a bomb that killed a couple of policemen and crippled a woman for life. I saw where the border stations came down and you can now drive across like a state line in America. He took my picture in front of a beautiful old church and was interviewed on BBC radio about the upcoming festival. We rode the bus back taking the same route he took as a wain (child) with his mother and sisters. His mother used to bring butter back under her big coat even in the summer because it was cheaper to get in Derry but you weren’t supposed to.

   No conquering today but lots of old battle sites visited.

    This post on Jesse the Sagittarian made me think of the movie Before Sunrise and its sequel Before Sunset. Have you ever seen it? Ethan Hawke plays a guy named Jesse and I feel like Julie Delpy’s energy is so Sagittarian, I’m not sure why. And he, the Scorpio (I think), just sits there, so charmed and amused by all of the quirky things she is saying.

    Speaking of “old battle sites visited,” I can’t believe I did this… the Sag ex took me to lunch today; we caught up and had a great time. I went home afterward and thought, why not? I dialed his number and asked if he would like to have sex. He said, “Uhhhhh, okay.” So I went over there and ravaged the man for about an hour. I didn’t do this to feel like a conquistadora, but by golly, I do. And I want to do it again.

    I just got in from my first real Irish session. Amazing musicians in a pub just hanging out and playing whatever comes to mind. Brilliant.

    And there are four more days to go.

    I am conquering coding a program in java that reads a fake assembly language and interprets and executes it… for a workstudy. Not for any real reason. But I am DETERMINED! ROAR!!

    Also last night I told a cute boy that he was cute, and did not require any reassurance in return except the good feeling of having been brave enough to say it! Go me!
