Astrology And Movies: Ghost Rider, Burning Love, Mars In Aspect To Mercury And Various Other Magic Of The Universe

Astrology in real life

ghostThe soldier was home and my son wanted to watch a movie with us. He made the pick, Nicolas Cage in Ghost Rider. Now the movie has a guy driving around on a motorcycle with his head on fire so you can see the astrology. Mars/Aries rules the head and fire… the yang motorcycle form of transportation (Mercury).

All three of us have some combination of Mars Mercury so we we were all just sitting there staring at the TV in our various states of shock, awe, horror or thrill as Nick Cage rides around with burning love for the gal in the movie.

See, Ghost Rider was in love as a teenager. He was in total love before he sold his soul to the devil to save his father’s life and once he’d signed the paper (Mercury) in blood (Mars), he wound up leaving the girl on the side of the road… a scenario I am very familiar with. She is a hottie of course… and so is he.

He’s got to be hot, he’s on fire but also it’s Nick Cage. Nick Cage (Cap, Moon in Scorp) who displayed his crotch in white pants on the cover of Vanity Fair in the 90’s, something Elsa P still recalls.

But anyway he leaves the gal and then runs around being the Devil’s assassin ::smiles:: due his curse. Meanwhile, she stays hot and works an tv news reporter… um, she has an audience.

ghostrider.jpgGhost Rider is news of course so she has to go interview him, get his statement and right now I don’t know who this reminds me of but he starts flirting with her right away and she blows him off causing him to chase her down the street on his hot bike.

Now we did not finish the movie. We ran out of time so it’s saved for next time and you probably haven’t seen it but a week later we discussed this.

“Yeah he leaves her just like you did me and then look what happens to him? His head is on fire and he suffers,” I said. “Serves you bastards right! You should never walk away… drive away on your bike from love like he did and you did.”

“Ah, P, you kicked me out. You called me a cock!”

“Yeah, so there is no one for him but her. That’s obvious. He’s either going to be with him or no one and her?”

“Yeah?”

“Well she looks pretty good. She’s pretty normal and it appears she could be with just about anyone but it’s not true. In reality there is no one for her but him either,” I said. I knew he’d be surprised.

“Yep, funny how it’s like that,” he said.

“Why is it like that?”

“It’s just like that and it’s funny.”

blackhawk.jpg“Hmm. What do you make of my kid choosing that movie? Hard to believe he picked that thing and shows it to us.”

“Yeah, it’s good one. He knows how to pick ‘em.”

“Okay then.”

As for the Mars Mercury imagery, the Ghost Rider besides being the devil’s hit man is a daring stunt driver who hops his bike over Mack Trucks and Blackhawk helicopters with blades a-spinnin’. It really was something to see - the 3 of us sitting on the couch all close together and spellbound. You just can’t help it when something is in your blood. It’s another kind of hook, I s’pose. ;-)

Nicolas Cage is a very spiritual actor (National Treasure, Next, etc…): there is always a meaning in his movies, you always learn something from him.
He and all members of Coppola family are very powerful in the spiritual and psychological sense.
Mars conjunct Mercury is better than Mars in bad aspect to Mercury: the action must follow the thoughts in order to be efficient.

Loved that movie! Mars/Mercury in Scorpio!

And Nicolas Cage is always fun to watch, especially in action films . . . :-) Did you happen to watch the movie where he plays an Italian soldier in WW2 who falls in love with the Greek girl, “Captain Corelli’s Mandolin”? He sings and looks hot . . . he IS Italian, after all! :-D

I have to admit to really loving Con-Air. but Moonstruck and Raising Arizona are great too (and don’t ruin your hipster cred).
