When the soldier moved in a few weeks ago he was around a few days. Long enough he wanted a workout so we went to my gym. We didn’t discuss it other than I knew he was going to work out with some weights and then swim. I was going to get on a crossrtrainer and then go in the steam room in the ladies locker room because I had little energy that day. We did not know how long we’d be there. We figured and hour or so and that was it. We headed out.

We walked inside and split off in different directions. We didn’t touch each other so I have no idea what people thought. Probably nothing as we were there at an odd time rather than my usual so while I recognized some people it was all pretty uneventful.

I did get on the crosstrainer and do some of my moves though I stayed controlled about it. I am perfectly capable of putting myself into a trance on that thing. I can dance on it as if there is no tomorrow and people routinely remark at my glee and joy on the thing but I kept it orderly knowing he was somewhere behind me. We had no contact except for when he passed by to let me know he was headed to the pool. 30 minutes later after a steam room and a shower, I met him in the lobby and there! No harm no foul.

Outside, we talked. The packed eighth house (me) communes with the eighth house Scorpio Moon (him)

“That went okay,” I said.

“Yeah, you look good on that crosstrainer, P. It’s better than a striptease,” he said.

“What? That can’t be.”

“Well it is.”

“I am an old lady,” I said.

“Got nothing to do with it. You’ve just got energy, that’s all there is to it.”

I didn’t argue because I know he’s right. “Yeah, I have energy. Anything else? See anything else you liked or didn’t like?”

“I went in the sauna by the pool and there was a big ol’ Hungarian woman trying to pick up this old black guy,” he said. “So that was funny.”

I laughed. “Yeah, I have heard the sauna is a hopping place. People talk in there and they gossip. I have never gone in there but they gossip about me for sure. I’ve been told,” I said not mentioning his astro-twin specifically used to sit in there and talk about me non-stop.

“Well that would be a big mistake,” he said.

“Mistake? Well I guess, maybe,” I said looking at him for a clue. “If you don’t like it you better brace yourself because they talk about me in the locker room as well. I have been told many times so it must happen fairly frequently so if you start to come here you will probably hear something. I don’t know what but…”

“Yeah, that would be bad,” he said interrupting. “Someone in there talking about you is going to go down for it. I’m not going to listen to that.”

I didn’t say anymore because I had to think.
