I really wouldn’t mind motivating people to solve their love and relationship problems and some of my experiences last week were so powerful I think they relaying them might have this effect. I am sorry for the serious mood, but I think it’s the current climate. Pluto in Capricorn for starters, but anyway I want to talk about cancer.
I have never been in attendance when someone was (or was not) diagnosed with cancer. When the soldier and I showed up for his check we were in pretty good spirits. I figured his odds of having cancer to be 50-50 even though they were probably nowhere near that good. Because fact is when you have smoked for 30 years and 3 medical people tell you to get to an oral surgeon, it is probably no joke. But we were together and because of that, very happy when we showed up in this office.
The soldier is out of place in Colorado. He considers this a liberal state though I think it is more a conservative state with cities that are liberal but in whatever case the receptionist in the screening part of this operation put him right at home when she started recollecting all the ticks, fleas and chiggers she’d had on her body while living in his part of the world. I stood by while they chatted… the only tick-free person either of them had known, feeling grateful for the friendliness. So far, so good.
Out in the waiting area he filled out his papers while I sat close by. Ever see people out there who are very connected? That’s how we look. I know because we were sitting across from a mirror, although he refused to look in it. But I was fascinated.
I don’t think I have mentioned it before but the soldier has issues with people being in his space. This is fall out from his career and apparently the effects are severe although I have never seen them. For some reason he has no symptoms at all with me and in fact he likes me very nearby. I am encouraged to be as close to him as I like in any way I favor and I do favor this so I get right in there and I stay. We sit like we are one person not two and it has always been this way.
He’s got that grand trine in earth (we both do) and it was astrologer, Dharmaruci who pointed out this gives a person a very calming physical presence and it’s true. If you get near either one of us, your blood pressure is likely to drop as you calm down for no reason and I think that being very high strung, we both like this affect.

my husband does. he doesn’t have to say or do anything. just being physically close to me puts me at ease and calms me.
oh, and he has 5 planets in virgo. very earthy.
Actually, I’ve been told I’m like that. In particular that my home is like that… a good place to chill out and be at your ease. And I feel that way here, too, it’s an effect I’ve worked hard for.
Three planets in Taurus, including Venus, and men in particular relax when they’re around me and find me easy to talk to. I like that.
I only wish I had that effect on me! But at least my apartment has it. And some cities. And most trees. It’s gotten to where friends of mine will encourage me to go out and hug a tree when I’m stressed.
Yes, I think I generally put people in a coma.
The weird news is, birds love me. I have had the most incredible close encounters over the past year with eagles, hawks, herons grouse, pheasants, crows, shorebirds, songbirds on and on. They come so close I could almost touch them. They dive me, dive my car, they follow me, circle me, they plop down right in front of me on the trail, so I guess they feel calm and at ease around me. There was one in particular last summer that flew out from a wharf and sat on a pier closeby every time I walked there. But I couldn’t find it in any of the 4 major bird books I looked in. Weird, huh. Then of course when I finally brought my camera along, it had left. I’ve heard it said that birds can be apparitions.
I’ve known a couple of people like that, and also I have that effect on others sometimes. It can be really useful at work, dealing with the sometimes angry public.
My SO. Definitely. I watch him in action, out in the world and can see people calm down in his presence…He is the quietest ‘emoter’ I know
His Mars in Taurus trines my Venus in Virgo. Feels good. Wish I had more Earth, actually.

Gah. I just had news within a few hours ago that my father has cancer. What’s in the water….
I think people with Virgo energy have that effect on me.

Oh yes indeed. I just married a double Taurus. I’m fairly high-strung (gemini), but just being around him helps me settle. We’re also very obviously connected whenever we’re around each other, which is the vast majority of the time. I’m enjoying it.

I see it in my brother. But people see it in me. I do feel it from the inside.. I was in Italy recently and had used the word “mellow” and my friends didn’t know what it meant. After going through “laidback” and “relaxed” to no avail, I said, “like me.” And they immediately said, “Aaah, calma!!”

When people first meet me, many of them experience the energy of the grand cross in fix signs I have. They go, wow, this is a difficult woman! Then they get to know me and tell me all sorts of incredible things about their lives. They often say, “I’ve never told this to anyone.” I believe them, because I wouldn’t tell people some of the things they tell me. Then they tell me they feel better. Yes, because my moon is in Pisces and no one understands like a Moon in Pisces.
I’d be a bartender, except with the Moon in Pisces square Saturn, I have trouble standing for eight hour shifts.
People say I have that presence, which is hilarious because, inside, I am a live wire.
This is the way DaddyEggo used to be with me…I would get around him and every ounce of stress would disolve and I could breath and relax. I miss that around me greatly.
(((maheggo))) I feel for you. I have attracted stelliums in Scorpio like you all my life and had this reported. Try to find an earthy friend. If you touch them them can ground. I can literally feel the emotion from lots of scorp run through my body to the ground. I love the sensation, it causes no damage at all.
