Astrology And The Ability To Find The Perfect Gift

Astrology in real life…

elsas storyI was floored today when I got this in the mail from a client. It says, “ELSA’S STORY - taste, enjoy, remember”. And guess what’s in there?

COOKIES! A whole bag I presume. ;-)

Can you believe this? How do you find a gift so perfect? I don’t know. I wouldn’t know. I couldn’t come up with something like this if I had a million years to think about it so I looked at this gal’s chart and found this:

Sun Neptune in Scorpio - probably somewhat psychic… was led to this somehow
Moon, Venus, Jupiter in Sagittarius - generous
Mars in Cancer - comfort food

Thank you (name omitted because she’s a Scorp) and here is my wondering:

If you can pull off things like this - how do you do it? How do you find the perfect gift?

Jerri - thank you! I opened them and killed a bag already. All gone. Yum.

There is another bag in there, I am going to give to the soldier. I also told him you called me P and he said it was okay, long as you stay away from the pussy, LOL!

    ::snort::

(We can talk like this, she has Sadge… which is why she calls me P in the first place.

Come to think of it, Jerri, You could be his little sis. Your Sun Neptune in Scorp, his Moon Neptune in Scorp - both with Jupiter in Sadge..

    A most excellent present!!

To answer your question, things just call to me. Like I see it, touch it, and a face pops into my head. :-D

I have a friend who can do this better than anybody I know in the whole world. For the record, she is a Gemini, Scorpio ascendant and moon in Sagittarius. She has Mercury, Jupiter and Mars in Taurus in the sixth. Here is how I think it works. She is a Scorpio rising, so she is collecting data from the getgo. She’s a Gemini so she’s very curious and and very active about generating the data for her huge storage bank (Mercury Jupiter in Taurus). She has Neptune in the 12th, so hanging out with her is like having her in every cell of my energy field. She basically remembers every detail of my past as well as my future. Years ago I was really obsessing on those large balls you can use as chairs which are good for your spine. I said this a lot: THOSE BALLS ARE SO COOL. That was data on me. She filed it away in the “Objects to Hunt For” files. With Taurus, she is patient and loyal to wait for the good deal to come up and then wait for the right moment. Being a Gemini, she is always fluttering about. And with her Moon in Sagittarius, she is way willing to go outside of her financial boundary and still be in the comfort zone. So Voila on my birthday I got something I had wished for months previously, sort of forgot I was obsessing on and it was like perfect, and even a little embarrassing to feel my data turn into 3 dimensions. I wonder how long Jerri has wanted to give you a present, and how long she knew what it would be. I feel some incubation time behind Elsa’s shock delight and appreciation! Jerri: was it spontaneous?

I’m good at this, and it’s almost entirely instinctual. I just spend a while thinking “oh, I should get so&so a gift,” and then something perfect will usually appear. Takes a while sometimes, but it almost always works.

Lots of 12th house stuff going on in my chart. I’ve learned life goes better when I just accept that stuff appears in my head for no apparent reason.

  7. Jerri says on 2/16/08 at 8:27 am:

Yes, Deirdre, it was spontaneous, but in a way it wasnt. If that makes sense. I had just had a reading with Elsa that was mind blowing, and I was taking it all in while grocery shopping.
I was in Whole Foods, which is always very organized regarding the checkout, but there were only two lanes open. The store was especially crowded, because of a snow forecast. So, I’m waiting on this line, and an employee calls for me to come to her register at the other end of the store, AND there they were. I couldnt believe it. My heart started racing. P would love this!!
There is nothing like getting a really special present, especially if you dont know it is coming.
For the record, though, I’m really good at finding great presents for people.

I can see the scene vividly. It’s very dramatic with the snow and eveything! I think I can smell that Whole Foods smell, even all the way over here, in Germany, and I think I can imagine that magical feeling too, the energetic, sparkly afterglow of a great reading and being aligned with the cosmos.
