Mississippi Ban On Fat People Eating In Public, Oppressive Government And What’s Embedded In Your Psyche
Astrology in real life
This topic, the Mississippi Fat Ban has me stunned and mesmerized so I just keep writing. Excellent example of Saturn (restriction) in Virgo (diet) and Pluto in Capricorn (Shadow side of the government).
Yesterday I went to the gym and I was thinking about all this fat ban business, the prospect of seeing our rights dissolve beneath us and the possibility of leaving the country for a better life. I thought of this and then I thought of that and then I thought of it.
Now I think at this age you are not all that likely to do things you have never done before. It may seem the thing you are doing is new but if you look back with keen enough eye you can generally find it’s root. I think everything is part of a grand design and no experience is wasted.
Matter of fact I think you can’t do without your experience and I think people are driven by things very deep inside them and when you can make these ties it’s like having your life explode in Technicolor. Eureka!
Leaving the gym, I called the soldier.
“This and this and this,” I said relaying my thoughts about the prospect of leaving the country.
“Uh huh.”
“But then it occurred to me. Do you think we have the Sound of Music script embedded in our psyches?” I asked. “Remember when we saw that movie and what we felt and how we were both so connected to it? It flipped us out.”
“Yeah.”
“Well what if that’s because we are going to act it out? What if we saw that movie as kids and now we are going to live it?”
“I don’t like those shorts, P. Those shorts they wear in that movie. I don’t want to wear them.”
I laughed.
“Yeah, I don’t know if we have that movie in our psyches for that reason. It could be a road map, yeah. As long as I don’t have to where those shorts, that should be fine.”
Do you spend time pondering what drives you? Where is Pluto in your chart?

Absolutely, and I take my goals and the underlying motivation very seriously…Pluto in the 11th.
Miss Elsa, you are thinking often about Pluto these days?
Or is it that you are always thinking/writing about Pluto and I am new to the blog
As per my nickname, I have a Moon Pluto conjunction in Virgo in the 1st house… sextiled all around the chart pretty much.
I spend too much time pondering (in general). Oops. There’s that Virgoan self-criticism….
How do others deal with their Pluto conjunctions? Esp when it’s a personal planet joined to Pluto?
“Miss Elsa, you are thinking often about Pluto these days?”
moonpluto - I have no idea. I just write whatever comes out of my fingers and let the Scorps who lurk here figure it out.
Oh, great Elsa, leave it to us Scorps to figure it out.
Don’t worry, change it is a-coming… the time to take back our power is here.
Well Marc, I rely on you people. I can feel your energy you know, so just hope I can continue to be sick and twisted and unconscious enough for y’all to have a good meal every day.
Ah, but Elsa, where would you go? Canada and Mexico are a part of the North American Union, so ultimately those three are in the same boat for the long run. The UK has the same problems that we do, they’re just a little further along in some ways, and there’s already a European Union. And I just talked to a man who moved here from China where I’m sure you know that the government is crazy restrictive.
I think with Americans we’re better off sticking together. We can beat this if we don’t let them drive wedges between us. There are so many of us that have been indoctrinated pretty much since birth to love freedom and appreciate rights.
Amethyst - I would go wherever he wanted to go seeing as I could care less where I am. We are having a big fight about this at the moment. ::shrugs::
Well, I know he is a man who knows things, so if he settles on a place, please tell us. I want to know if there’s a safe place from all this crazy. Just knowing a place like that exists would make me feel better.
OMG, do you know? This reminds me of that clip from Aaron Russo’s Freedom to Fascism, and in the scene a guy calls up a pizza place to get delivery of a pizza. The cashier on the phone pulls up his medical records and tells him that since he has high cholesterol his pizza is going to cost $$$! And when I saw that for the first time I thought it was funny, but so unrealistic. I guess we found out, didn’t we?
The fat story plus the new story about the FBI wanting a database of our physical traits is just too much.
Isn’t it strange that the generation that burned their bras and draft cards has come to this extreme late in life. What happened to the flower children? Do you think they are afraid of dying? LOL They might as well come to grips with it.
Tam - I think they want the guy next them to die and the guy next to them to get old.
How about Australia? Oh, they’d looooooove the Soldier to pieces. I’m not being facetious, really, they would.
AHHHH I love the Sound of Music. I cry EVERY TIME! My personal favorite part is the laendler, when it becomes just as obvious to Maria and the Captain that they are falling in love as it is to the audience. (omg, just watch it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K0sCBVN2MPY) The shorts are disturbing though. And the curtain coverall dresses. Yikes.
Being an expat is so romantic. I think you should do it.
Ummm… the Pluto question: it is in my tenth conjunct Uranus.
One astrologer told me I was going to redeem my reputation, but I highly doubt it. I like the idea of regulating the various sex industries, but I can’t say that it drives me. I tend to resent authority although I keep looking for examples of integrity from authorities.
Abuse of power, that’s what drives me. Waiting for the abusers to be exposed for what they are and shot out of the sky, exploding in flames… ok I better stop now.
I think about what drives me all the bloody time!!!!! Pluto in the 9th.
The Asian Union is not far behind. Australia is under the rule of “Great Britian” so it will follow that Australia will do as it is told by the crown.
I highly reccommend this movie, ‘Empire of “The City”‘ @ Googlevideo.com.
There is no place to run from one’s obligations. I think, through our ignorance and apathy, we have created this monster so it will be up to us to eradicate it (greed, lust) and it would probably start within ourselves.
Every time we purchase gasoline, pharmaceuticals, beauty products, brand name products especially, we are supporting the very thing that feeds this beast as it expands it’s influence. It is a vicious circle where the “Host” must continually provide a nominal environment for the “parasite” to flourish.
What hurts me the most is that this is the legacy that I have created in my apathy to pass on to my sons and grandaughter. Because I was so busy being “entertained/pleasured” that I totally neglected what matters.
(Being in constant survival mode did not help either).
As for my Pluto? It is conjunct Uranus in the 11th. I KKNOW what drives me. I’ve just never been sure of my driving skills. I think lately I am very aware that I had them all along and should never have let someone, other than myself, do the “driving”. Big mistake.
As a current neighbor, allow me to state for the record that in my personally calibrated opinion, Mississippi possesses such an enormous, gargantuan fatness, that on a clear day I can practically see it from here.
