Pisces Quotes
Pisces In Their Own Words…
Pisces are known to be nebulous ethereal sort of entities, with brilliant imaginations and capacity to fantasize. There is a yearning to escape from the mundane and the minutiae in life. This desire to escape and exist in a state of bliss, frequently leads to substance abuse. Pisces is drawn to service, full of faith and assists humanity by blurring all things harsh for the rest of us.
I don’t think I could be a foot soldier. I don’t know if I could take orders too good. I’m a little lazy.
Benicio Del Toro
Everyone is like a butterfly, they start out ugly and awkward and then morph into beautiful graceful butterflies that everyone loves.
Drew Barrymore
The beast in me is caged by frail and fragile bars.
Johnny Cash
I would advise you to keep your overhead down; avoid a major drug habit; play every day; and take it in front of other people. They need to hear it, and you need them to hear it.
James Taylor
I fell off my pink cloud with a thud.
Elizabeth Taylor
I may have been a golden retriever in a past life. When I walk down the street, strange dogs I’ve never met before look at me and do double takes. They do. They look again.
William H. Macy

Tori Amos lyrics
Goodbye Pisces
I don’t
I don’t know why
In your Boys life you become like a bull
like a bull in a china shop
Smash it up into smithereens
There you There you go again
Breaking Breaking porcelain
Is that all I am just a Doll you got used to
We’ve done We’ve done this before
as Mars sauntered through his door
Don’t say it’s time to say
Goodbye to Pisces
Goodbye to Pisces
I cried and I washed my tears
that turned into diamond
Ice into ice and if it could freeze
My heart wouldn’t float away
There we There we go again
Breaking Breaking porcelain
Is that all I am just a Doll you got used to
We’ve done We’ve done this before
as Mars sauntered through his door
Don’t say it’s time to say
Goodbye to Pisces
Goodbye to Pisces
So how how will I go
Back on Back on the shelf
with a smile with a smile
to the customer and say
on sale by the owner
Here I
Here I go again
Breaking
Breaking porcelain
Is that all I am
just a Doll you got used to
We’ve done
We’ve done this before
as Mars sauntered through his door
Don’t say it’s time to say
Goodbye to Pisces
Goodbye to Pisces
Goodbye my Pisces
Ok so it’s not a Pisces quote, but I had to post it after seeing the recent Pisces posts!
Two favorites:
“It is far better to be alone, than to be in bad company. ” attributed to George Washington
and
“Be like a duck. Calm on the surface, but always paddling like the dickens underneath.” attributed to Michael Caine
I just read this today and it feels Piscean (maybe after a Pluto transit). This is from Nando Parrado’s account of his ordeal in the Andes, when the plane carrying him and his teammates crashed. I’m sure you’ve all read the story. Anyway, Nando and two of his friends gathered up the courage to trek 50 miles in the Andes to reach help:
“I had always thought life was the natural thing, and death was simply the end of living. Now, in this lifeless place, I saw with terrible clarity that death was the constant, and life was only a short, fragile dream. I felt a sharp and sudden longing for my mother and sister, and for my father, whom I was sure I would never see again. But despite the hopelessness of my situation, the memory of him filled me with joy. It staggered me-the mountains could not crush my ability to love. In that moment, I discovered a simple, astounding secret: Death has an opposite, but it is not mere living. It is not courage or faith or will. The opposite of death is love. How had I missed that? How does anyone miss that? My fears lifted, and I knew that I would not let death control me. I would walk through that godforsaken country with love and hope in my heart. I would walk until I’d walked all the life out of me, and when I fell, I would die that much closer to home.”
Billy Corgan:
“To me, music was about being accepted and escaping from this crummy existence.”
His online “confessions” are very Piscean:

“However, our society thinks that success means having a car and a lot of money and looking as white as you can or as American as you can. Or if you’re white, looking as exotic as you can. We don’t have any idea that it’s about our hearts and our souls and how we treat the next person.”
Erykah Badu
The first team mate to reach the finish line, has lost: “He has left his teammates behind”.
“Everyone is like a butterfly.” I love this one. Hope that i can have beautiful graceful butterflies someday.
Elsa, I may be wrong, but I looove Benicio del Toro, and I always thought he was an Aquarius. His B-day is on Feb. 19th, is that already pisces? I’ll double check.
I love Erykah Badu, if any of you ladies haven’t heard or listened to the “Bag Lady” lyrics, you have to.

“But, the Piscean influence doesn’t end with the Sun. Del Toro also has Mercury, Venus and Saturn in Pisces….”
Edie Brickell wrote the Pisces anthem! “Shove me in the shallow water before I get too deep.”

Oh, I see….It depends on the time he was born on the 19th.
Aww….and all this time I thought I had an exclusive thing for Aquarians
lol
Beautiful passage, Marly!
“It’s not my fault. It’s never my fault.” Ray P.
Elizabeth Barrett Browning:
“Yes,” I answered you last night;
“No,” this morning, sir, I say:
Colors seen by candlelight
Will not look the same by day.
(from ‘The Lady’s “Yes”‘, 1844)
My Mom is a Pisces, and she has those typical deep and hooded eyes. When I want to annoy her I tell her she has George Washington eyes or Elizabeth Barrett Browning eyes.
That quote by William H. Macy cracks me up! Man, I’d like to have a beer with that guy…
