Voice of Saturn In The Wild

Ask the collective

bone chilling cold“It’s bone chilling and it’s depressing,” said the woman on the phone on the crosstrainer as I passed by. She was speaking astrology but I doubt she knew it. I would have liked to interview her but she wasn’t talking to me.

“What is bone chilling and depressing?” I’d have asked. “The weather? Something else?”

Is there something bone chilling and depressing in your life right now? What?

I’m in the class of no-resistance these days. There are things in my life that definitely fit the bill but I feel like I can’t give into it. I’m constantly reminding myself to let things go.

There have been two stillbirths recently in my “online universe”, so to speak. While I didn’t know either of the women whose child died in their womb personally, I’ve been thinking of it constantly, and feeling the horror of it deep in my bones.

Here is the cake for bone-chilling and depressing. Three weeks ago, my ex-husband was run over by his friend in a parking lot of a bar and was caught under the tire and dragged for 1.1 miles. His body was ripped open from shoulder to hip by the tire. His heart and lungs were visible and his intestines were spilling out of his body. He had 3rd degree burns on his back from the exhaust pipe and his led was torn out of socket and was hanging from his body by the skin only. Believe it or not, he is still alive, in critical condition, but he is one infection away from death. All of a sudden his whole family is back in my life. We were together for 9 years and married for 4 of them. But it was a long time ago (divorced in 1994). I have been keeping up with his progress through his sisters who are at his side most every day. The doctors have never seen anything like it, but he is progressing each day. It is a very disheartening situation. He has two daughters, 5 yrs and 8 yrs. If you read this and feel moved, send kind wishes and healing energy to him -His name is Jeff Irene.

That is a terrible thing for a person to go through, I’m so sorry Rhonda. Here’s some love and good vibes for him–and you and everyone who loves him.

Already kind words from people!! I love the energy on this blog! Thank you all! Ive been thinking about the Saturn in Virgo energy surrounding this incident. Jeff’s friend, Doug, who ran him over had just been bonded out of jail for a DUI 2 hours earlier and claims the bondsman dropped him off two blocks from the bar where this whole thing happened and he went back in and started drinking again! When the bar closed he had 3 other people in his car and was going to an after hours drinking party. The people in his car told him he had hit someone and he said “no way” and took off. Why they didnt try to stop him?? Alcohol impairs one’s judgement so badly! Doug is currently out on bond and our town is in an uproar about the jail being allowed to let people out before they blow 0.0 into a breathalizer. This whole ordeal is teaching some really hard lessons right now. Everyone invloved should be sick over their role in it all. Risky behavior is being punished severely for these people. They all have had ongoing alcohol issues. The whole ordeal was a drunken fiasco, tragic none the less. I hope it is enough for them to turn things around! My heart goes out to all of them really; this will be a long treacherous road for them!

Rhonda, is there a fund set up for your ex-husband? Would love to donate if there is…
Sending love to you and Jeff and the family. Unbelievable.

Holy crap Rhonda, that’s horrific! Best of luck to all of you!

As for me… Um… There’s some drama and difficulty, but nothing we can’t get through. And it definitely seems like small potatoes next to Rhonda’s story!
