In western astrology the south node, it’s house and sign describes what you are inordinately good at expressing and manifesting in your life. In contrast the opposite point, the north node, it’s house and sign represents what you should incorporate to progress in this life.

Speaking of the soldier’s challenge of manifesting his seventh house north node in Libra, I also have my north node in the seventh house. This means with our south nodes in the first house, we are both very comfortable acting independently in spite of our desire for relationship.

I have Venus in the seventh house, which is definitely going to want to partner and the soldier has Libra (Venus) in the seventh which puts him in a similar situation.

We are currently trying to work this out and I don’t mind saying that while we may love each other very much it is a great strain and struggle. So what about you?

My son and I both have an emphasis on Aries and Libra energy and it’s been interesting to note we approach this puzzle thing in the same way. That is, we are working on this project both together and separate.

At times we work together but we are both drawn to complete the challenge (Mars) and achieve the goal (Strong Saturn) so we have a hard time walking by this thing. Consequently we are both steadily working all day.

He takes a break to play one of his Christmas computer games independently. I do same to post a blog and then we’re back on task.

We also flip back and forth on the axis of the opposition. For example, he started the Mountain Dew can and then offered it to me while he started on the top corner there.

Being highly mutable, I go round and round and am responsible for all the little bits you see. In contrast he is fixed and so responsible for the large block that is completed.

“He must have recognized your name and put it together. Yeah. Well you must have been glad to hear that,” I said. “I’d give him some credit for this. Don’t you think he deserves some sort of credit for picking up on that? I do…”

“Oh, I suppose,” said the rhino with the balloon tied to his nose. “I suppose I’ll have to be nicer to the bastard.”

“He’s not a bastard.”

“He is a bastard, but he could be a bigger bastard so I will try to be a little nicer to him.”

“Good enough.”

“But I will still kick his ass if I don’t see you this weekend. I am going to get irritable.”

“Are you irritable?”

The soldier has his north node in Libra in 7^th house (double whammy). His node is conjunct my Mars Mercury in Libra and I am pretty sure I am to pull him towards relationship and politeness.

People are back to work and the gal I had to ‘slap” in that big meeting (The Whirlwind) is still thinking she can angle. She called me this morning, slipped a lie into the conversation which I imagine she expects to grow fruit which she can harvest in a week or so. Such a dilemma.

It’s a dilemma because I have enough problems without feeling responsible to monitor this gal’s misdeeds especially when I know for a fact there are other’s on her case. Another person, high up is so disgusted with her, he bypasses her completely and goes straight to her boss with every issue. He’s on his own when he does this though I am not sure she knows it because every issue has my name on it. Anyway, it reminds me of the game, Twister.

“Yep. I know metaphor, simile…”

“Yeah. Well that’s what this is puzzle is for you and I. After what’s got on around here, we have a big mess. We really have a mess just like this puzzle, there are pieces everywhere but we are not going to leave it that way.”

He was quiet.

“No, we’re going to get this thing together and you and I will get together in the process, it will be like magic,” I said.

“Okay.”
