My eye on the sky
I just got home, 6 hour drive from Nebraska. The solider is 2 hours behind me.
I got some news on the road, came home and googled and felt my blood pressure sky rocket. Okay, so in my case that means it’s 102/85, but still. I am MAD! So I made some calls… got all the relief I am going to get on a holiday weekend and then decided I best shake it off. How? By sticking with the plan. I am supposed to cook dinner now, see? But as soon as I considered starting dinner I had this thought:
“I can’t cook or the anger will go into the food!”
That prompted me to look at a chart of the current sky and sure enough Mars (anger) is square the Moon (food).
Too bad astrology is a hoax, huh?
(Watch that movie but whatever you do, get the Spanish version with subtitles. The dubbed version is horrendous)

Love that movie!
Now I have to go look at headlines, I’m notoriously out-of-touch.
I was recommended that book too, years ago, forgot about it, will try to catch the film sometime. I’m like that with cooking though, cooking when angry is not good and it always seems to come out better if i’m happy in the kitchen so i try to play happy or soothing music. Classical i find to be the most calming if i’m riled and notice it’s good for calming babies too as a brief stint in babysitting showed me, he was a double taurus though but responded so well to it.
i just feel sick. don’t know if you’re talking about the news that struck me cold thursday morning, but i’d somehow expected it while hoping against it. just like so many other awful things of late.
(as a child i was riveted by the election of a woman to lead a country. and she had such a presence….)
i’ve been numb for several days and it’s only starting to hit me. maybe it’s the aquarius moon, but when i get bad news and i can’t feel anything i know it’s going to be _really awful_ when it does. the disassociative instinct, i guess. but it’s starting to hit me.
i adored that book.
