Blathering Allowed But Surely Not Welcome: Saturn in Virgo Square Mercury In Sagittarius
Astrology in real life
Here lately, I prefer the idea of talking over writing. Probably because it’s more efficient but it’s just hell to get on the camera feeling the way I do so I’m stuck!
Now regarding Saturn in Virgo I think I have mentioned we are all going to have to edit. It’s an economy of words and it’s amazing how this has manifested in my life. Because we have all these planets in Sagittarius right now and they want to go on and on. They want to tell a story.
But in this situation with my daughter, my style of communicating just will not do, so guess what? HQ is editing me! Is this a trip or what?
I write him long, blather-y, emotional posts to communicate the situation which is both vast and deep. He fields the 25 mails, organizes the information and reduces them to a size that is manageable so the people who have to manage it have a hope in getting some clarity in this murky situation.
This is helping me, by the way. (Defining what helps / Saturn in Virgo) I would be screwed, blued, tattooed without this service and I am writing this as a heads up to fellow big mouths.
People don’t want to hear it! Not with Saturn in Virgo square Mercury they don’t. Show up with short tight copy in whatever your realm you’re in if you want the best result.
Anyone else being edited?

I ASKED to be edited!
Because I want to do things right ![]()
Heh. Brevity war!
Yes, I am having to carefully edit myself before speaking or writing (not easy to do as I am a Gemini sun with moon, venus and mercury in Gemini–squaring mars, pluto and uranus in Virgo!). However, this self-editing is paying off, both professionally and personally.
I’m new to this blog though and have not felt “tempted” to post a message before today.
Also wanted to say how much I admire Elsa’s method of using astrology to build self-awareness.
Yes
i wasn’t aware of it until you said it, but yes, actually, i am being edited several ways and feeling the drive to expound but being shut down…and better off for it, when i don’t fight the edits, now that i think of it.
[i'm glad hq is helping. you have some fucking awesome frineds.]
have to. or, i could sure use it. disorganized thoughts = long rambles until i actually get to the real point.
(uh, it’s a good thing the virgo is in easy aspect to the uranus mercury opposition, is what.)
Not at this point, yesterday with the square though, I just couldnt’ get traction or momentum on anything
I forgot to mention that I am actually enjoying this “slow down” in my personal and professional communications even though in the past, self-editing my responses, especially my emotional responses, would have been near impossible. I’ve gone from being a typical fast-talking, fast-thinking Gemini to being a more careful, perhaps Virgoan, personality. But that could be due to the Pluto transit opposition my Sun this past year. My teenage sweetheart from 28 years ago recently came back into my life, something I just didn’t see coming (although I had never stopped thinking about him). Is anyone else being affected by a tense Pluto transit to their sun (conjunction, opposition or square)?

Yes! I am literally sitting in the hall at my university after talking to my professor about how to construct better thesises (thesii?). She’s a Virgo (naturally), and she basically told me to cut out all these Jupiterian things I do in my writing– overwriting, pomposity, grandiose thinking and not enough specifics. It was extraordinarily helpful.
