Astrology Today - Coping With The Chaos
My eye on the sky
People and things seem nervous and jerky to me. With the Jupiter Pluto situation, people seem to be expecting something big to happen. Mars retrograde in Cancer, a sign it hates has plenty of people pissed off and Uranus direct has sped things up for in all.
I looked at today’s chart for relief and realized there is only one planet (Saturn) in an Earth sign. This suggests people who feel some grounding might help them cope can get it by focusing on Saturn in Virgo which is essentially the task at hand. Because the rest of it definitely seems to be way beyond an individual’s control.

hadn’t thought about that, but the writer’s strike is pretty saturn in virgo, huh? restricted communication.
stuff has felt very in flux for me, and somewhat overhwelming. i have a huge project to finish within a couple of weeks, and i feel like it’s a very important time for me, but have felt overwhelmed with the amount to do with that, other stuff. just very scattered.
i have had a little luck with just picking one thing at a time and working on it, so i will try this advice more conciously. i’ve got a lot of earth in my chart and have a rougher time when the sky isn’t as grounded as i’d like, so i appreciate the specific advice!
I’ve been feeling antsy about the stock market and my parents are calling me up and asking about buying gold. However, I’m just taking it’s ups and downs in stride right now and will likely move into some kind of currency trade in the near future. I’m not panicky, but just a bit antsy. I’m chalking that up right now to just having watched that Zietgeist movie so it seems natural I’m a little gunshy about the markets. It strikes my ‘hoard’ button - and I keep hearing that line from grade school - ‘a good girl scout is always prepared.’
just got home. reintegrating the holiday trip. weird weather. weirder dreams. agh!
but good. just disorienting. and back to work. yup. that at least will be a bit stabilizing.
but everything’s changing and i can feel the wave coming on fast….
Uranus in my 12th square my mars, pluto square my moon..perfect timing to have an arrogant gyno attempt what i was assured was a simple procedure and mess up. Thank jupiter or maybe even saturn for whoever convinced him to abandon the procedure and not leave me wombless.
It feels like the calm before the storm…..
Z, I’m glad to hear that Saturn came to your rescue. Sorry to hear that your gyno is a jack-ass though. I’m up to my eyeballs in Jack-asses at the moment….so I’m feelin’ ya.
Z! I’m glad you’re okay and not terribly hurt. Perhaps it was the ’squares’ that convinced your gyno to abandon his stupid plans?!
Thanks peeps..op was to decipher why i’m having painful periods and i’ve been waiting a while for it (as you do with the british nhs). Touch wood all seems fine but am not entirely confident about going thru it again which leaves me in a bit of a catch 22 scenario. A friend of a friend also went in the same day for a similar op and got a vein cut through (mars currently opp her moon..)! Different hosp but obviously was not a good day for either of us astrologically.
