Jupiter And Pluto Leaving Sagittarius For Capricorn: The Paparazzi, George Clooney, Dead Babies, Cocaine And The Shadow Side

Astrology in real life

george clooneyA couple days ago George Clooney spoke about the paparazzi breaking laws and putting celebrities in danger…

“What they’re doing is illegal, its high speed chases and they’re competing with each other. They’re not trying to catch me doing something stupid, they’re trying to create me doing something stupid. You don’t get to break all these laws and then say ‘I’m just doing my job.’ The guys that commit all these crimes are rewarded for it. It creates bounty hunters in a way. “

<snip>

“I am the son of an anchorman. I don’t want to restrict anyone’s rights. Take your pictures but don’t go 60 mph down a one way street. Don’t cause injury to people who aren’t involved.”

I thought this was interesting and I was really glad he spoke out because I agree with him. And I think he is talking about the times that are coming when Jupiter and Pluto leave Sagittarius for Capricorn forcing people to be responsible for what they publish. Grow up already, flashing your crotch, and publishing the pictures of the flashed crotches day after day after day after day. My God, are we bored yet? But on a more serious note this is the bit that got me:

They’re not trying to catch me doing something stupid, they’re trying to create me doing something stupid.”

We all know when there is a demand for something, a supply will be created. So what do you think about these photographers working in teams? The celebrity leaves the club, you deliberately ram their car and I take their picture reacting in a stupid manner. If you knew this is how the picture was acquired would you still flock to look at it?

Is it okay with you if Britney Spears (a young mother) is irrevocably damaged so that you might be entertained… inflated (Sagittarius) because she is denounced (Pluto)? I wonder.

cocaineAwhile back the soldier explained why he never really got into cocaine.

“Once I saw what was behind all that, I just wasn’t interested. Those people… the people who are smuggling the drugs are savage. For example, they used to float a decapitated body by out base camp on a raft, each and every day. Day in, day out. Another day, another headless body comes floating by. Men, women, children, whoever.”

‘Why?”

“Intimidation. This is what we’ll do to you if we catch you. That was the message they were sending. They didn’t want their business interfered with and they had no problem killing whoever as brutally as possible to insure they were left alone. They’d do it every day. Further, they would put the shit inside bodies of dead babies to smuggle it. Can you imagine that? I have seen this with my own eyes and once you’ve seen this and know what goes on so the cocaine can get into this country you really don’t want anything to do with it. Think about it, P. The stuff came here in a dead baby and now you’re going to put it up your nose.”

“No I’m not.”

“Exactly.”

And if you think I am comparing apples with oranges… well Britney Spears has two babies. How nice we as a society have to crucify their mother. Why do we have to crucify her again? Excuse me, but I’ve forgotten the grand and important reason why teams of people have to follow this woman around.

I am also confused as to why gifted writers can’t think of anything to write besides a running (like diarrhea) commentary about some 21 year old starlet whose nipple showed helping to delude these girls into thinking they are important. Will the appetite for this stuff ever wane?

With the dollar at an all time low, gold nearing it’s all time high and oil about to break above $100 a barrel, I’m bettin’ yes.

Nothing will change until the human race gains control of our “desire mind”. Think about it. If we are awake we are consuming something or thinking about consuming something. Anything for a distraction.

Tam - I don’t know if you’re right or not but if you are then I guess we are going to find ourselves in a state of lack where distraction is less available. It just seems to me it can’t go on as-is but who knows. I can never tell if my perceptions go beyond my sphere.

Can people spend their whole lives following the nipple from here to here to here? Maybe they can!

I would say, in the case of Britney Spears, that they are catching her doing stupid things, not making her do stupid things. But really, it seems pretty clear that she is having a meltdown, and they are doing nothing but kicking her while she’s down. What I really can’t stand is when they snap pictures of her crying and then publish them.

What kills me is the commentary, not just about Britney but any number of young girls, where they scrutinize their bodies, their clothes and the looks on their faces. How the hell is someone supposed to be able to handle that? The comments are scathing.

Imagine having to cope with an unflattering picture of yourself being broadcast around the world so people can tell you how fat and ugly you are. This is entertainment?

No, it is sick. I’m teaching in middle school after a 12 year hiatus and the cruelty of these girls are at a new high. I don’t have to tell you that, Mosta has dealth with it first hand. But I know they are learning some of their techniques from these rags and shows. Taking picture with their cell phones and posting them on MySpace as soon as they get home. Kicking someone while they’re down is the quickest way to the top, and if you can’t find someone down, find a set of stairs and push them. What I don’t get is the girls that are the targets that keep coming back for more and make excuses for them. What is with that?

I’m always glad you write about this Elsa–as long as people keep buying this type of cruelty as something someone like Britney Spears ‘deserves’, it will need to be pointed out that it is utter BS.
And quite frankly, it’s a new strain of misogyny.

What I cannot stand more than anything is the new focus on people’s children. In my opinion, if you buy those magazines, you are saying it’s okay to follow, stalk, harass, another being. I feel the same way the Soldier does.

I read an interview with Charlize Theron once, and she was asked ‘Why don’t we see you in the trashy mags more often?’ Her answer was that she filed a lot of police complaints when she first started getting followed, and ‘that seemed to stop it.’

It’s too bad more celebrities don’t take this route. Maybe they’re afraid of hurting their ‘fans.’
I hope Pluto in Capricorn has people feeling a lot more in control about these types of things.

A lot of them are probably just not as smart as Charlize… and also they are incredibly young. The girls they write about are babies, from my perspective. And they are ill-advised, surrounded by sycophants and people living off their notoriety. Think about it. You’re hooked up with a celebrity. How interested are you in them getting less press?

People are living off these girls and they have little idea how short their shelf life in almost all cases. I would say it would takes a near genius to navigate what these girls go through. And just exactly when do they have time to think, hmm? They are too busy being consumed.

I agree, Elsa. The worst thing is that the ’sycophants’ are these gals’ parents.

“If lust and greed is the candy, why cant we give em what they want??” -Natalie Merchant. I am so opposed to the war on drugs. We are allowing the government to make decisions for us based on the idea that they know what’s better for us. I don’t know if anyone is keeping track or not, but they DONT KNOW SHIT! If for one day the government spent ZERO dollars fighting this war, we could feed every hungry person in Chicago for a month. If you turn off the illicit flow of drugs in the US and tax it and regulate it, make it safe and accessable under doctors prescription, suddenly all the drug lords and seemy people who are out there stuffing cocaine in dead babies are OUT of BUSINESS!!! And the money from turning off the DEA and Coast Guard and all the other govt people from looking for dealers and cleaning up drive by shooting messes could be spent on education, the homeless and rehabilitation for those who need it. Don’t give me the bullshit about we can’t let kids get ahold of drugs and people will kill themselves on it. They already do get alcohol and kill others on that. If we did a better job educating people about the outcome of drug abuse (including alcohol) maybe people would make better decisions. If you are worried about your kids, you need to teach them and be a good role model. And yeah, people are going to kill themselves on drugs, and with knives, guns, cars, ropes and fatty foods; do you think we should outlaw all this stuff too??? As for Brittney, she is a great example to young America, of what NOT TO DO. Fine by me if she parades her stupidity around. The kids actually call an accidental beaver flash a “Brittney” now. How’s that for being famous!!

Rhonda, for the record, I think all drugs should be legal as well. However, I would still not put something up my nose knowing someone got their head cut off so I could have it and get high. It would just bother me… period.

i thought it was bad when i was in highschool but now look at what my teenage sister has to go through when she reads about what the world finds of value in a woman.
it makes me ill.

Elsa, I would never use drugs again, period, and that is my choice. Not only because of the dead baby thing but because the money spent and the demand for it also pays for corrupt empires in Afganistan, Central America, Russia, etc. That $200 eight ball is paying for terrorist plots and slave operations. What the legalization of it does is eliminate the problem of death and corruption being the place they come from. Everything would come from a pharmacy factory, not smugglers or corrupted foreign governments.

This is why people under 18 shouldn’t be famous! They’re just too young!

Hell, make it 20, that’s even better!

If only everyone would read the mysterious stranger by Mark Twain. It’s a great look at how petty and disgusting humans are. I’m not quite finished with the book, but I liked to be smacked with the reality of humanity. I don’t know if it would encourage people to be more loving or just as cruel. I guess it doesn’t matter, it is what it is.
