Astrology Today - Electing A Time To Poke The Bear
My eye on the sky
We’ve still got a Cardinal T-square in the sky and it’s fairly wicked. Mars is stationary in Cancer where is hates to be, opposite the Moon in Capricorn where it hates to be, square Venus in Libra who wants peace at any price… including slapping you down the stairs if you do not wish to comply with the dictate!
Saturn heading into it’s opposition with Uranus (this is going to be a big one) and everyone senses big change brewing. Sound comfortable? It’s not comfortable. And not to order you around or anything, but this is not the best day to poke people which brings another things to mind.
You know those people who pick the worst possible time to confront things? I used to be one of them. It’s a relief to be a bit smarter these days. A small bit, but hey.
The suggest you pick your fights and I’d go one further and suggest you time your fights as well. This is very Mars (fight) Mercury (timing) of me but it makes sense. If you’re going to cross the pen, should you do it when the bear is hungry? Or fed?
Do you consider time and place when you confront something? Or do you just go off, Elsa P style?

Wow, I certainly can relate. I was thinking about timing today. I was also one of those people who used to confront situations in the worst possible time. Now, I wait when the universe sends me a signal, it seems to be more effective. My mars is in Cancer opposing transiting Pluto in Capricorn. I sense a big change coming.
I used to be a slow fuse, simmer in mu anger for weeeeeks. very passiva agressive. But now that I have new found balls and have gotten in touch with my anger, I burst immediately. I find its much more healthy to nip he thing in the bud. If nothing than for my own health benefits. 
It must be my Mars/Mercury in Scorpio & a Virgo MC, but I’m very, very careful with my timing. Plus I live with Mr Aries who goes on & on about timing being everything!!
Choosing the right time to broach a sensitive subject has paid off for me big time, especially in the work place. One of my signature methods for taking time off was to make all the arrangements w/co-workers to take my place before going to the boss to ask. I almost always was given a “yes”. Taurus boss/Taurus 6th House 
I’m more your style but HAVE to learn to do it otherwise, because it just makes things worse for me in the end. I don’t think, I speak and act before anything. Mars/Merc conjunct in sag in the 9th. So lots of foot in mouth, dumbass things come from me before I get to think about it. I just have no fuse at all!!!
Experienced this today with someone at work.
Usually I’d let it simmer for days. I’d even get stomach cramps because of it.
But now, I choose confrontation “on the spot”.
And it works for me.
I’m finding it interesting that your description of this time period is fairly wicked and uncomfortable, yet I’m actually having a smoother, more comfortable time right now than I have recently. Then again, lots of Capricorn / Saturn in me. Maybe that affects it?
Anyway, regarding confrontation, I used to get myself in a huge tizzy and do everything I can to avoid it because I’d feel so *guilty* confronting someone, but I’ve pretty much gotten over that in the past couple of years. Now, if someone steps on my toes, I let them know, “Hey! You’re crunching the tootsies here!” and if they keep doing it, I am occasionally likely to stomp right back (although I still try to do it somewhat tactfully–unless it’s truly a big nasty issue of being disrespected or treated like crap. Then all bets are off).
I’m starting to appreciate Libranesque people less and less .. Being a mannequin, to me, isn’t a worthwhile goal.
To answer the question: no, I rarely go off. I retreat internally. I’m pleased to be myself so it’s rare for others to ruffle me, if there’s an escape route away from an unpleasant person. (That last sentence likely comes from my Venus in Taurus, I once read that Taurus derives self-esteem from themselves - inward sources - unlike Libra Venus).
I wait. I wait because I’ve found that if I wait, I sometimes get some insights about myself that I would miss if I just react. And those insights end up being much more valuable than anything I would get out of a confrontation. But that’s just me, maybe with moon (my ruling planet) opposite pluto and square mercury, it’s not a bad idea.

Like people with libra qualities have a choice in the matter.. ok we’ll just be a little more taurusy for ya.
Frankly I appreciate all of the signs for different reasons. I have a large extended family and while saturn was in leo, really came to understand the importance and role of all the personalities. I feel bad for people who can’t see that. Let’s just choose the ones we like and chuck the rest.
And I’m getting tired of the hate on for cardinal signs. What we all do is adjust to each other and it works. A lot can get done if we are conscious that not just one sign gets to “drive the bus”. And a lot can get accomplished after the row and the inherent “don’t tell me what to do” gets said.
Unlike the fixed sign battle that happened last year at this time. God.. stubborn signs not getting along.. it goes on and on and on and often over nothing. As my sister-in-law holds a royal leo grudge against anyone who disagrees with her, getting her all jacked up.. when all we want to do is be a family again.
Oh, I guess I should’ve phrased that ‘people behaving in a Libranesque way’ .. I know what the energy’s like in groups, I’m not immune cause I have Libra south node. When I see it I think, ‘Oh, I do that too, and maybe I shouldn’t.’ Nothing personal, it’s just my feeling of being over-and-done-with-it. Is it necessary we all be masked in order to get along? That’s my feeling when I encounter that .. rigid pleasantness in a group.
OK this is beyond funny. I just my first argument with my roommate/landlord over the placement of my toothbrush on my sink in my bathroom, and she decided to give me a 30 days notice!

Yep, timing is everything. I usually avoid the conflict, then simmer for a long time. If it doesn’t go away then I consider all the angles, cover my ass…then poke the bear. lol. got to plan your way in AND out.

yep.and its not even her bathroom. I think she is some weirdo control freak, and my Virgo Moon ain’t takin that. I’ve lived with her for only two months. And this happened on a day when the Moon was square my natal Pluto. Gotta love astrology!
i used to just go off.
my anger is a volatile, slippery thing (between aquarius moon and pisces mars there’s a lot of sudden explosions and mysterious subtlety to my emotions as i experience them) and i tended to just let fly as soon as something showed up.
but now i pay a little more attention to context. i tend to get better results that way.
Wyrdling, word up. That’s a lesson I need to learn.
Mars/Venus/Pluto conjunct trine Aquarius moon, though; when there’s a conflict that I think is important enough to fight about and let it slide, even for an hour, the pressure is unbearable! *lol* So I think I’ll settle for learning which fight is worth it and let the when part go. I’m getting pretty good at that.

I have to consider it, with libra saturn square my sun/mercury in capricorn well. I want to be right, and look good. And with virgo moon I need to go over a million things on my check list before I fight. Unless I know you. Or Mars sextile Uranus takes over, and even there, Uranus sextiles Capricorn Mars from Scorpio so . .
