Since Saturn Went Into Virgo…
Ask the collective…
Since Saturn went into Virgo, I have had two friends quit drinking and one quit smoking. What about you? Have you or anyone you know begun to take responsibility (Saturn) for their health (Virgo)?
What about structuring (Saturn) your daily routine (Virgo)?
Are you editing your life right now? Cleaning it up? How?

that’s wild…i have saturn in virgo in my natal chart and quit smoking in july. i also started eating living foods (raw food) only, and have cut down considerably on alcohol. 2 glasses of organic wine, max! my body can’t take more than that, and beer and hard liquor are definitely out.
i’m also simplifying my life…went thru my kitchen and bathroom last night and got rid of all nonessentials. the bedroom closet and living room are next! i’m planning on investing in a few pieces of nice furniture and a zen tea set for entertaining friends. my life has become rather spartan–no more partying, etc. but i like it. i’d rather be at home with some close peeps than out at the discotheques, and i’m usually a super-social sag!
on a personal level, i stopped waxing and plucking my eyebrows and am now growing them in, and stopped wearing contacts and got glasses instead…elsa, when did saturn go into virgo an dhow long will it be there? i like this trend! it’s working well for me. ![]()
saturn going through my 8th house like you Elsa. I ‘m discovering my hidden motivations and figuring out what I really want and desire in life. All things 8th house related and such.
Actually I’ve started smoking…oops.
I’ve been reading up on womens health as we are planning on starting a fam next year….
The good thing I’ve discovered is that I am pretty healthy which is awesome! I’ve been so worried, but I do take good care of myself and am hopeful this works to our benefit next year…I’m in my mid-30’s! We’ll see how it all goes.
So basically I am doing lots of reading on general health issues, global health issues, checking out WHO and such.
Keep moving!
metoo charlotte!
(well, for the umpteenth time, i un-quit. should quit again in a couple weeks….)
i’m clearing out stuff like mad. getting rid of things i don’t want, de-cluttering so i can have some space.
both in the house and in my head.
I think Saturn in Virgo is a good time to stop feeling like you ought (Saturn) to be thin, fit, teetotal, organic vegan fundamentalist etc.
I realized my life was in shambles and that my energies were leaking out all over the place. Also that I was/am absorbing everything under the sun. I also spend too much unstructured time and wonder why I can’t get anything done…soooo….
After a freakoutfest, I decided to stop blogging, cut down the email, no more talk radio rot. Instead I talk with people. I started setting limits on how long I can spend on a project or allow it to go on… and asked a Director I work with to start meeting with me each week so I can build in some accountability. I had a hard realization about how reactive an irresponsible my life is/has been.
I’m still working on the Starbucks habit. And the can of reddi wip habit…
DR- Thanks for the laugh and a half! Saturn is transiting my 9th House–no more fundamentalism, organic, free-range, fair-trade or otherwise…Saturn in Virgo is all about embracing simplicity
The only thing I ‘ought to be’ is learning!
I am realizing how much I need to structure my daily life and am starting to take steps to do it. My academic advisor just created a schedule for my life a week ago and emailed me today about how it’s going, but I haven’t been following it. Part of what I need to structure into my daily life is exercise and meditation. I always make a very poor use of my free time.
I’m doing nothing of the sort.
I tried weed for the first time, and I’ve developed an addiction to condensed milk (you can read all about it in my blog, now in english
) but i think this is jupiter transiting my moon now, allowing me to not feel sick and maybe gain weight.
I had an awful experience with my surgeon on my last visit a couple weeks ago. He was out of his mind and treated me like crap. Made me think alot though. I cried after being able to process it all and couldn’t forget it for at least a week. He said absurd things trying to scare me. I felt very insulted and don’t think I can trust him anymore. This was a saturn in virgo experience. Doctors are problably going through hell with this transit.
phel–you love Reddi wip too? Crack in a nozzle-tipped can!
Yeah, poor doctors, JEEZ! I’ve had TWO friends tell me about their rude, mean doctors recently. One was a naturopath who was such a jerk, my friend actually left mid-consultation (much to his shock). The other told my friend ‘I don’t have time to sit here all day to explain things to you’ –and she was undressed AND in tears. This comment was his answer to her asking why he was being hostile…
Yeah, the doctors better get used to having to help people, for real. I actually love my own doctor; dreading seeing the specialist about my skull at the end of the month.
Yeah - something’s definitely up…
I quit smoking 2 days ago and am just dying to get my ass back to gym.
Valkyrie, I’m glad that I can buy in in the store and not on the street!
Because y’know, it wouldn’t be refrigerated, and all..
I think my grocer is going to start ‘carding’ me to see if I’m adult enough to buy all those multiple cans of Reddi-Whip in my cart!
SweetCream Suckers Unite!
I’m not walking daily like I was due to daylight savings, but have scheduled a basic physical to check out my cholesterol, hormone levels, etc.. I have been thinking about it for a long time, and just figure I’ll get it done. Oh and have to go to the dentist, but am waiting for mercury to go direct
and might get a free dermascan this afternoon via work’s health fair day. They have been pushing the health fairs this year. It’s super!
Also eating more than usual the last few days, but I’m pms’ing….ugghhh.
I am starting to realize that I need to take more care of myself, the way I do for others. And I’m doing something about it, rather than just thinking about it.
But…..I’m sick as hell with the flu or something! Boo.
Kashmiri, that sounds about right what happened to me.
I didn’t leave the consultation but spent a week wishing I had and thinking of all the things I should have said. my health is perfect, all lab work is great, unlike most of his other bypassed patients, but because I don’t go to the nutricionist every three months, because it’s totally useless to me, though I think she is a great professional, and it’s also really expensive. He said really absurd things that I won’t repeat because you wouldn’t understand the level of absurd it was, not knowing alot of other things too. He is a very jupiterian person normally, so I was just shocked. I was really depressed at the time too, I really didn’t need that. But yeah, made me think saturn is not being nice to him. I think he has sagitarius rising, so problably having some pluto transit too. who knows.
This happened with my ex therapist once, and I left after a week of agonizing over it. And this brought all that up. I was thinking there is a pattern here, it must be my fault, what am I doing wrong… then I realized it’s not me. It’s saturn
it’s their problem, not mine.
I actually cut most meats out of my diet. I still eat fish… and a chicken wing here and there, but it’s mostly veggies. My body seems to like it.

On Friday I visited the local gym to check out the swim facilities and workout rooms. I am normally what some would call a COUCH-SLUG. Haven’t formally exercised in a couple of years since my water-aerobics class disbanded.
AND, I went by the local community college to get a course catalog and I haven’t been in school in EONS. Now mind you, I haven’t actually signed up for anything yet, but the feelers are out there.
