Astrology And Children: Sun Conjunct Saturn @ 8 Years Old - Love Training 101
Astrology in real life
My son is all Taurus and Libra. He is terrifically oriented towards relationship. Mars in Scorpio…
“Can you open this for me, big and strong, mom?” he asked.
I was standing at the stove and I looked over my shoulder, “Do you think you’ll want a date when you’re older?”
“Yeah.”
“Then don’t ever tell a woman she is big and strong because she won’t like it. Try lovely and beautiful or something like that.”
“Can you open this for me lovely, beautiful mom?”
“Yeah, that’s it. That’s the way to fire. You’re going to have dates coming out of your ears, I’m happy to tell you. Give me that thing, I’ll open it.”

Sweet story!
I’m trying with my son but girls are the enemy for him right now. Oh, i know it’ll turn and then some. He’s a Leo with Leo Rising….
I’m hoping to impart similar wisdoms to him when he’s more receptive
You sound like a cool Mom, Elsa.

I don’t know - I rather liked the ‘Doll Face’ approach he took in the other incident - all sort of Robert Mitchum-ish.
Tell me I’m lovely and beautiful too often and I’m going to think you are disingenious or too wimpy. I rather think the approach of a male having a bit of command over himself and thereby the environment around him a bit more appealing.
You know the Big and Strong Mom thing worked for him after all - you did open it for him.
And his comments made you think like a typical woman would in the situation…
“Big and Strong????”
a girl might think…
“Oh he doesn’t like me, he thinks I’m too fat or too muscular. I’ll SHOW him!”
Get it? She is thinking about him automatically in a romantic way. It’s what the players might call a negative hit. But, it often works under the surface of a female’s skin until she turns it around to try to prove to him she’s not so big and strong, but all lovely and beautiful - and in need of his help, which he knew all along!

You don’t know the half of it. This kid got out of bed one morning when he was 4, walked out of his bedroom looking all weary and said, “I am so tired of sleeping alone.”
I couldn’t believe it. He is phenomenally Venusian and one of his main goals in life is definitely to hook up. He started calling girls “hotties” when he was 5. I have no idea where he got it. I told him that 7 year old girls were not “hot” but he begs to differ.
I have had to spent a lot of time telling him what the hell is appropriate because he has been trying to pick up my daughter’s friends since…. since forever.
There was a a time I was worried about him being a perp, although that has passed. He is raw but definitely wants to live civilized. He is very much like his mother, see? We’re right on that line…
I should say, I advise my kids but it is well understood around here that people run their own lives. I tell my kids this every day of your life. “You decide! You decide what you are going to do. I have enough trouble deciding my own life!”
So when I advise vidroid, it goes without saying he will use his own mind. It’s like “this is my information… this is what I think is true, now use it or don’t.”

This reminds me of so many things my parents and other adults used to say to me when I was a kid, and they stuck! My dad (a double Cancer) “Keep your hair long always, men love long hair. Women shouldn’t have short hair”. My mom (Leo) has long hair
Some of it wasn’t as nice as all that, I was told if I kept cracking my knuckles no one would marry me because I wouldn’t be able to fit a wedding ring, LMAO. It scared the crap out of me but I kept on going anyways. I don’t care all that much about marriage (till now, but that’s another story).
Heh, this story brought back memories. Thanks for teaching him that!!
