Astrology And Children: Sun Conjunct Saturn @ 8 Years Old - Ouccccch! Not Again!
Astrology in real life
My kid lost another tooth last night and per usual there was hardship and trauma attached. He proudly pulled this one himself than ran down the hall to get something to put it in, tripping on the way and seeing the thing go flying and he was distraught.
See, we couldn’t find the tooth. You’d think we’d have been able to find the tooth, both of us crawling up and down the hall on our knees (Saturn) over and over but that tooth was history and he was sooooooo upset although I tried to reassure him the Tooth Fairy would still show up.
I also gave him a lot of criminal mind ideas how he might deal with this… decoy fake tooth and such. I told him the Tooth Fairy was magic and didn’t care about physical teeth and I just in general talked my head off because he was just so incredibly upset. But in the end he decided to write her a letter and this is it:
Dear Tooth Fairy, I have lost my tooth in the hall and spent 30 minutes looking for it. All I have is a piece of dry rice. If you want a treasure chest, you could have the one on my shelf. If you accept this letter, I would be happy! Write me back. Vidroid
I thought this was gut-wrenching. “Dry rice” refers to a small chunk of white thing he found while crawling the floor. Could you possibly be more paltry?
I feel so bad my kid has it so hard and at the same time I feel so proud of him. He takes it and he takes it like a man, but it really shouldn’t be this hard to be 8 years old. It just freaks me out. Breaks are very few and very far between and I just don’t know how to make it better for him outside of the standard, “best thing you can do for Capricorn” which is to make them laugh.
But when they are feeling inept and incompetent because they have lost their tooth and have to face judgment of the tooth fairy, this is not such an easy thing to do, I can tell you.
Can any of you Sun Saturn people relate? How about parents of Sun Saturn (or Capricorn) kids?

school of hard knocks, kiddo, best to laugh, just like elsa said. saturn and capricorn do have a great sense of humor. guess they’d have to…
My mondo Capricorn kid is fifteen now, and holy hell it’s hard to get him to laugh but it absolutely does make all the difference in the world to him.
My God, that kid is so intense I want to crawl under the desk and hide sometimes.
Yep, make em laugh. Laughing releases endorphins too and will make you feel better anyway (if i’m in a bad mood sometimes i smile to trick my brain into thinking i’m happier than i am). Sun/saturn can take life too seriously at times but of all those i know who have it in whatever form, the best thing to do is make em laugh, they usually have great sense of humours. Though try not to laugh AT them cos it may have the opp affect..though personally i dont mind it, if i’ve made you laugh even unintentionally then thats a little bit of attention right there, something this aspect often secretly craves, AND i’ve cheered you up. I have read that this aspect is common in charts of clowns/comedians..
