On the way to mass this morning…
The soldier’s Saturn (slow, guide, control, grown up) in aspect to my Mars Mercury (speeding cowboy) in the 9th (religion).
“Nervous,” I said.
“Don’t worry about it,” he said.
“Okay. But I would like to sit in the back, back, back,” I said.
“The back, back, back?”
“Yeah. So if I mess something up, no one will see me.”
“Well I like to sit in the middle, middle, middle.”
I glanced over and rolled my eyes. “Well I said I was going to have your experience your way, so middle, middle, middle it is. Did you ever see me drive this slow in your life?” I asked. “I think I am going below the speed limit.”
“No I’ve never seen you drive this slow and I appreciate it.”
“You like this?”
“I do.”
At that point, I gave up.

So, tell us, how did it go??? Inquiring minds want to know.
I went to a Catholic service once, it was very different from my usual church services. I think there is lots of beauty to be found in different faith practices when we can understand the backstory.
What I want to know is, did this take place at the soldier’s own church? Y’know, the one where the Judge also was a member? Or was it just some church of the soldier’s faith in whatever location you two happened to be?
As for slow driving, too bad you didn’t have a hot dog car to travel in. He’d have been in heaven already!
