Astrology and Travel: Perils Of Being Capricorn… And Various Other Sundries

Astrology in real life…

airplaneAbout that yin flying thing, one time I was on a plane with my daughter who was about 8 at the time but she is smart as a whip. She was sitting in the window seat, I was center and there was a full size man on the aisle, maybe 6′2″ and 240 pounds.

I was having no problem, the flight attendant had just cleared our lunch when I turned back from chatting with my daughter to see the man has fallen asleep.

Five minutes later, he had slumped down, leaned over and had his entire head lying on my tray table, sleeping like a baby with his head in my lap, drool and everything.

Of course I thought this was hysterical, as did my daughter…

“I thought I was your mother,” I said.

She roared. “Are you going to leave him?” she asked.

“Well, yeah,” I said. “How am I supposed to move him?”

“Oh, Mom. My mom is a mom.”

This is what happens when you’re super yin and have a grand trine in Earth. Capricorn too. These babies just find you. That guy slept in my lap for almost and hour.

Do you attract babies or no? Where’s your Moon and how’s it aspected?

Ha, that’s funny because just today my room mate come in with razor cut on her leg and immediately I whipped out Neosporin and Band-Aids. “Aww, why are you the mom?” she asked. “Because I have a Virgo moon”, I replied.

:-D

I am not a mom, in fact I proudly claim to be the least maternal woman on the planet, so it’s lucky for me that I do not attract babies. Moon in Aquarius, trine Libra Sun and square Scorpio Neptune.

Cancer moon & venus, so I attract babies fairly regularly. This is unfortunate because my Mars in Capricorn wants to smack them upside the head and tell them to grow the hell up already!

I’ve been trying to figure out how to deal with that Mars/Venus opposition for years, and I still really have no idea what to do with it.

I would feel trapped in that situation. I’m not maternal at all. except with cute animals. I do have a mother theresa streak in me, from all the pisces in me, but it’s pure sacrifice to be maternal, rarely satisfying if ever. So I don’t atract babies. Also my venus in capricorn would make me feel a bit disgusted at the situation. :) I’d be divided. but not pleased.

no. i run away from babies!

moon’s in the sixth. in aquarius, sextile the aries sun in the eighth.

well, except real babies. i adore those. but i thought that was just a momma thing.
i’m more likely to draw feral animals in need of some comfort. and people like that, too.

People are always telling me i’d make a great mum which used to annoy the hell out of me as i wasnt maternal in the least (except towards animals) and thought that meant i looked mumsy (= frumpy). But i can sense when people are down or feeling uncomfortable and am the first to ask their welfare so i think people see this as a caring thing (i was always the girl at school who took newbies under my wing for example) whereas i just see it as highly sensitive to others moods. Moon in 7th heavily aspected in a rectangle with ura, jup, plu, nep, merc, asc, chiron and nodes.
