Transiting Mars in Cancer (home) is in aspect to my natal Mars Mercury. My kids are home for fall break so lots of action around here. My daughter clicks off from talking to her friend on her cell phone.

“Well okay then, is there a problem? I don’t think there is. I think their mother should entertain you as well as I do them so how about that? This is worth something.”

She just laughed.

The movie played on and people continued to get killed in booby traps. There were a lot of impaled people. There were an “over lot” I thought, and there is one scene where the soldiers come upon dead people impaled or strung up on a fence.

cj - I know, but I pay attention to what other astrologers write and so many addressed this… I try to take an innovative angle. Neptune turning direct is a very big deal but I am preferring to address it in a Neptune (indirect) fashion via the story I am telling. The Green Beret story, but also the rest of the music stuff on the blog in the last days.

I like this method. It is mine. It is a Venus in Leo (entertainment) square Neptune (diffuse) way of doing things and I will leave the more direct approaches to the people who are better equipped to deliver that.

On Halloween / Scorpio season, same thing. I am writing all about death in a way that is concentrated and potent so you get the idea. It’s all here, it’s just fuzzy.

Shell - Personally I would discount theses sources, all three of them. There are a lot people not equipped to read a chart or counsel people and I can tell you right now that you ran into 3 of them.

First of all, there is no way they can know that. Secondly, it is simply not true. Taurus on the descendant makes a Venus house, Venus ruled. That’s good. Further, Taurus is stable and smacks of a permanent love. Taurus is not involved with death!

It is very important to scrutinize the source of your information and in your case… well I’d say that you have been hosed. Someone was being dramatic at your expense.

Scorpio rising? I say purge! Write their names on a piece of paper and burn it if you have to. This stuff is trash. It’s an infection and it does not belong in your psyche so get it out and get it out now.

Venus looks itchy. Inherently uncomfortable in Virgo, Venus is also being agitated by Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto which smacks of having too many Gods in the pot!

Thankfully, there is still a grand trine in the water signs. Neptune is also beautifully aspected so escape is on offer for those who know how to lie back in the pool but make no mistake. There is some catty stuff going on out there.

“Yeah, okay. And mourn my femaleness on your own time, would you? I’m not changing and I don’t want to listen to complaints about my sex. It’s not going to kill you if a girl sees your pictures. I am pretty sure you’ll survive the horror, won’t you?”

Dear Scorpio,

I am not positive what is going on here but I have some guesses. First, it may help to understand your friend’s nature. As a Cancer she is going to withdraw at times. She can’t help this anymore than a leopard can help the fact it has spots, so it might help to ease some of the conflict if you became aware of this.

Secondly, although you have a stellium in Scorpio you have an Aquarius Moon and you like quirky women. So in essence part of this problem lies in you. If you were pure Scorpio this would be a much simpler equation but there is conflict between the needs of Scorpio and Aquarius and they are reflected in your relationship with your friend.

Now here’s my advice: get hip to the fact this girl has moods and I don’t mean she has one or two moods, she has twelve! Keep an eye on this and you will see what I mean, each mood last 2.5 days (the length of time the Moon stays in a sign).

Armed with this information, learned to recognize which moods don’t jibe so well with you (for example if she wants / needs to be alone she is going to push you out) and when they come along, use your innate ability to detach (Aquarius) to protect your more tender Scorpio side.

Scorpio can also deal with this because it can be like a science experiment and you are not just studying her. Because what will help you most is getting to know yourself better and frankly, this girl seems a perfect vehicle on that front.

This was interesting because I was going to post on exactly this topic. The soldier feels he pissed off God quite severely at one time and he is now living a series of lives… many, many, many, many lives meant to teach him a lesson. We were talking about this more extensively this weekend and he said…

‘I am here to tell you, that you just don’t want to go around pissing off God. For example, take the Titanic. That guy said, God couldn’t even sink this ship! So what do you think God is going to do? God is going to teach that guy a lesson, that’s what. And not only is he going to sink the ship, he’s going to do it with an ice cube! There! There is your ship, God can’t sink! I sunk it with an ice cube, you bastard!”

This is a Neptune bit on various levels. Movies are Neptune-ruled for starters and the other themes will emerge as I go (I think) In whatever case, Mercury (writing) is trine Neptune at the moment, so this seems a good topic. Jupiter is involved, so this calls for a story, I guess…
