1 Minute Astrology: Netbank Failed - My Lack Of Reaction And The Story Of My First Divorce

5 minute astrology

I have been a Netbank customer for 9 years. On Friday, I signed on to pay my bills and found the bank had failed. This notice was posted:

On September 28, 2007, NetBank, Alpharetta, GA was closed by the Office of Thrift Supervision and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) was named Receiver. All insured depositors are now customers of ING Direct Bank, member FDIC. No advance notice is given to the public when a financial institution is closed.

The FDIC has assembled useful information regarding your relationship with this institution. Besides a checking account, you may have Certificates of Deposit, a business checking account, a Social Security direct deposit, and other relationships with the institution. The FDIC has compiled information which should answer many of your questions.

As a footnote to this story, this guy also tried to buy my dogs and a stack of stuff sitting outside by the front door, waiting for Goodwill pick up. I kept my dogs and gave him the donations. ;-)

This is an exquisite story. And I like your approach. Can relate to it too: At present I have no money and precious few possessions. I find myself thinking: do I really care?? Maybe not. If the tide’s out the tide’s out. But the faith is crucial - without it the picture becomes very gloomy.

Oh Elsa. What a fantastic approach to life. Your story–and outlook–remind me of an old co-worker. He was 45, and had lost 3 fingers in a farming accident when he was 13. He was given $10,000 compensation, which his Dad stole from him.
30 years later, he was at work as a bike messenger and rode by a duffle bag on a bench.
What was in it? $10,000. Cash. Some people would’ve turned it into the police, but he thought it was his long-lost injury money.

I had a similar Saturn return - sell everything and left town. I had 3 bags of clothes when I relocated and that was 15 years ago now.

That is a great story! I can relate to the shedding of possessions too - especially when parting ways with someone. For many, many years i traveled light and moved every couple of years or so. Now I have more possessions & property than ever before….in the composite chart w/my Aries, the Sun is conjunct Venus/Jupiter in Capricorn. :-)

That was such a great story! Thank you, Elsa. :)
