“That guy makes me crazy. He writes one whiny song after another. What’s the matter with him? Can’t he get over that girl?”
I just stared.
“Well, P, what’s he going to do? Write about her until he dies? You just know it’s the same girl he’s singing about. One girl left him ten years ago and he’s got to write like… 20 songs about her and I just wish he’d shut up. She left you, you jerk! Get over it! You got you heart broke so now we have to hear about it for 20 years? What’s he going to do? Pine for 30 years?”
“Well that’s what you did.”
“Well yeah. But I only wrote you one song. One song,” he said with his finger raised for emphasis. “One song and I put the guitar down before I turned into something like that guy. Jeez, he just makes me sick. She broke his heart? Well I’d like to break his neck every time I hear him start singing yet another whiny song about his lost love. I just can’t stand it, P. I have to change the channel the minute I hear him start to sing about that girl, I just get so pissed off.”
“Yeah, well everybody has their thing they can’t stand.”
What’s the thing you can’t stand? The thing that makes you want to come down on someone like Saturn (an authority figure)?

Oh a lot of things provoke my Saturnian part. People talking too much, about the same things over and over…maybe they provoke my Mars too because I want to slap them sometimes. hihih
joana, he’s not. It’s an artist from our era but the name slips my mind, probably because I just don’t like criticizing artists so I don’t want to say…

Seriously, the thing that gets me the worst right now is people acting like I’m their mother. Yeah, I have Cancer rising — but I’m also a Leo sun, Aquarius moon, so get your own damned plate and pick up your socks on the way back, yo! Not. My. Job. 
It took me a while to figure out what my buttons are and then I met someone who pushed them all. Being two-faced, that’s a big one. Talking down to me like I’m dumb or something, and I take a page from your book Elsa, because I hate it when people tey to boss me about things that are just none of their business anyway. lol
People who change their minds at the last minute or don’t follow through with something they said they would do. strong Saturn influence plus a Fixed Sign emphasis. One of the main reasons I had to leave my day job because it is not a good thing to snarl Scorpio fashion at one’s boss . . . 
People who are uninterested in going outside their little comfort bubble (going to new places, meeting new people, having new experiences). Drives me nuts.
Lying, judgemental, self-centered people.
Oh, and manipulative crap. I hate that!
People who say hurtful things to people who can’t or won’t take up for themselves. Then BAM, I retify the sitution on their behalf.
Tam - I wonder where your Mercury is with that MO. Don’t have to tell me, I just wonder. 
It’s like you’re a word-hero.
Now that you ask, I notice that I didn’t get really pissed off in a long time, it doesn’t seem anything really pisses me off anymore. I noticed a couple of weeks ago I don’t even respond angrily to racism and condescension which used to make my blood boil - I tell them what I think, but it’s all very emotionally detached, like I don’t really care anymore. I guess you get tired of repeating the same things for years, after being exposed long enough to the allergens your immune reaction weakens. It might be a good thing, but it’s just strange.
people who don’t communicate, lack initiative, aren’t considerate or don’t/won’t share. and i agree with seekingzen on the manipulative crap, as all of the above smacks of manipulation to me! i always thought sharing was a huge component of any decent relationship…sharing responsibity, sharing initiative, sharing and taking turns all around. but i’ve learned the hard way that some people just don’t get this, so i avoid being in situations where i have to share with these folks, ugh. i guess this is the saturn in libra, and gem rising
Betty Blunt’s Mercury is in Gemini in the 12th house. Yeah, double Gemini has Mercury in Gemini. LOL
keep your word. speak the truth. if you speak. i have no problems with avoiding telling an inappropriately timed (or whatever) truth.
but keep the words as close to authentic as possible.
my saturn’s square mercury (and uranus) which i think is where this comes from.
People who are fake polite/happy, who won’t be honest and acknowledge the elephant in the room. Saturn conjunct Mercury in Aries in the 5th square Cappy Moon.
Liars. And idiots. But I think rude people are idiots. And you can do what you like, as long as you don’t try and sell me the bill of goods you’ve bought.
Two-faced people. Be straight with me or I won’t deal with you.
Things I can’t stand?
#1 - My own weakness and frailty
#2 - Any authority figure who doesn’t naturally and organically dominate me on his/her own merit. Most “earn” a position by doing the wrong thing in service to the “right” person.

I can’t stand misanthropes and people who are mean, brash, and manipulative just for shits and giggles. People who mess with/argue against your world view and plunge you into chaos just because they can. Also, people who treat me badly when I don’t deserve it and are harsh about it when I do.
People who don’t take their share of responsibility, but seem to always want to tell you how to do it…..ay! People who have opinions on any situation of mine and feel compelled to let me know without any request from me!!
A biggy…parents who don’t discipline their children and let them (children) run their lives on every little thing…eating different food from the rest of the family, any bedtime (child is just not tired yet)…ay!!, this one really drives me crazy!!!!
