The Soldier And The Waiter And The Grand Cross In Action
Astrology in Real Life…
Now you know the soldier has gathered songs about me and has his entire life. (The Box) What you don’t know is what a constant, unending quest this is. In the old days he would be in third world and have a song come to him and try to find it there, generally with very little luck. In other cases, he would find the song somewhere it never should have been but no matter what, once he had a song in his head he was hell bent to find it, and own it and he’s been at this 30 years.
With that in mind, we were in the Mexican restaurant waiting for our takeout when the gay waiter was talking to him… an immigrant. The soldier started talking out of the blue sky about how he heard this song years ago and always wanted to have it. He mentioned the band’s name in Spanish.
“I didn’t think I would have any trouble finding it,” he said. The band was really good and I thought they’d be around. But I never could find it. There’s another one they do…” He stopped to sing in Spanish and the guy recognized the song. “I like that one too but this other is a very sweet love song. It has a rose in it, do you know it? I like to sing to her, she gets mad.”
“Because you don’t know the words?” he asked me. “You don’t know what he is saying?” he asked.
“Yeah,” the soldier said, answering for me. “And I would sure like to find it somewhere.”
“I have that song,” he said. “It’s on my computer.” He was grinning.
“You do? You have that song?”
“I have that song.” He offered to burn a cd, the soldier could come back and get it the next day.”
“We’re leaving town,” he said.
“You could email it,” I said.
The waiter agreed and the soldier and I both thanked him. Eventually our food came and we left.
“He’ll forget to send that song,” the soldier said somewhat dejectedly.
I was shocked. “No he won’t. Why do you say that? No way is he going to forget. Are you kidding me?”
“He’ll forget, P.”
“Your lack of faith. Sometimes it’s just appalling. That song is coming! That is a love song and that guy understood love. He loved love, couldn’t you see that? He’s got this sweet love song on his computer, doesn’t that tell you anything? He is a lover and you are getting that song. There is no way…”
The soldier shrugged, but today I woke up with the song in my email. Go Felipe!
And this is a great example of the energy of today’s grand cross in action. People are getting hooked up, it’s just sort of clunky. Keep an eye out for “foreigners”. This is who delivers the benefit. And in that vein, I emailed Felipe with an offer to read his chart.
