“So what did you find out?” I asked inquiring about his psychic technique.
“Oh, nothing,” he said, obviously lying.
“You’re lying,” I said. “Why are you lying.”
“I’m not lying,” he said like he’s some kind of Special Forces soldier.
“Lying through your teeth. I know what you’re doing. When caught lying, continue lying.”
He laughed.
“So you’re lying.”
“Not lying to you, P.”
“You eyebrow moves, do you know that? I play cards.”
He instantly controls his eyebrow.
“It’s not the only tell,” I said. “Think I would give up my information?”
He stared.
“Look, man. Your whole face changes shape. You may as well have your nose grow like Pinocchio! You don’t want to tell me, keep it to yourself but I wouldn’t bother lying.”
“Okay, I’ll try to do that,” he said. “Keep it to myself.”
“Well, okay.”
1 minute later he spills it.

I can ALWAYS tell when my brother is lying, used to drive him nuts…same as with the soldier, his whole face changes.
Can usually tell when my best friend is lying but she’s a whole lot better at it…figuring it out usually results from knowing her very well rather than a physical tell.
I can always tell, but usually have no idea how I know. Twelfth house Scorpio moon. Am psychic, sometimes whether I like it or not.
I can tell when my kids are lying. They’re not good liars. They have a lot of Aries and Sagittarius.

Mostly i can and always have been able to but i’m not sure how. My mercury is in exact opposition to neptune and trines moon, jupiter, uranus and pluto in 7th..i know merc/pluto can often display an investigative mind and merc/ura has insights..I get this weird thing too where if someone is lying to me and i dont know, i seem to find out anyway, somehow. Have a few planets in aries and i do find fire signs tend to be the most honest of the elements.

No, I’m oblivious to that kind of thing.
I am oblivious if someone lies to me because I find lying pointless, I assume others feel the same and don’t lie. I know, naive!
Yet the lies always become revealed to me. I am intuitive, yes, but liars always reveal their lies sooner or later. People fuck up. And serial liars don’t keep track of who they tell what, in my experience.
More often than not, yes I can tell. I’m not exactly sure how… It’s like there are tiny ‘tells’ that I see clear as day that a lot of other people wouldn’t notice or wouldn’t connect with lying.
As for myself, it’s got to be something big in some way for me to bother attempting a lie, much less being able to carry it off. I don’t lie well, period. Even if I plan to, when the time comes to open my mouth, it’s most likely that the truth will come out. I generally lie/omit the full truth only to avoid hurting someone’s feelings when I’m dealing with someone who can’t be trusted with the truth.
Stellium in Aries (Sun, Merc, Venus) in the 8th, but Venus is damned close to the 9th.
I’m hit-n-miss, really. There have been some that slipped under the radar (like when my first boyfriend was cheating on me with TWO women *cough*), but I’m usually good at lie-detecting anymore.
Paradoxically, because I’m assiduously honest for the most part, when I do lie I hardly ever get caught.
Most of the time when I catch people lying, it’s because somehow I know that what they are saying “doesn’t compute”, like “there’s absolutely no way that’s what/how it happened”…
I’m a fairly good liar, but I want to get caught! I think I want to get the matter out in the open without being the obvious instigator… Sag rising, Libra stellium. I didn’t want to get caught when I was a teenager though, and I got away with an awful lot!
