Astrology - Short And Sweet: Yeah, Mercury Is In Scorpio

the unitRemember HQ sent me the first season of The Unit awhile back? Well I got hooked and am now watching the second season.

My lizard brain informs HQ:

“Watching season 2 of the unit. First two episodes were weak the next few, really good. Wish the eye candy was better though. I only like two of the men and think the percentage should be higher. Sort of like Charlie’s Angels was for men.”

“Do you remember our alarm clock, P? The one we had when we were kids?”

“No.”

“It had one of those sticks in the back you pulled out when you wanted it go off.”

“Oh yeah, I do remember that.” Continue reading Taurus: Famous For Their Memory

Astrology Today: Ohhhhhhh… Thud!

September 30th, 2007 @ 3:09 am by Elsa

My eye on the sky…

moonThe Moon in Earth sign Taurus forms a square with Saturn in Virgo and reality is evident. This is jarring to some, but others take comfort seeing the grandiose and delusional ground even if it’s with a thud.

It’s sort of like being or seeing others on a drug binge. Coming down is agony but simultaneously relieving and ultimately necessary.

Dating Dracula - An Interlude

September 29th, 2007 @ 7:50 am by Elsa

Astrology in Real Life…

draculaA true story…

Dracula the Scorpio was an actor who lived in the artist section of the city, on the top floor of his building (the 13th floor). Scorpio doesn’t like to live under people; they prefer a high perch. This is not to lord it over others. They just want to maintain their own privacy, but have the ability to see into your backyard. Drac had four planets in Scorpio and make no mistake, he could really exude. His Leo rising gave him dramatic ability, and a pronounced stage presence. My Venus in Leo made a fine complement.

One night we were in his apartment and we got into a fight. Our fights were intense, passionate, and highly theatrical. We had scripts embedded in our psyches, damned near. Scenes right out of a movie and a good one, no kidding. I was thirty at the time, so a seasoned actress. Continue reading Dating Dracula - An Interlude

The Soldier And The Thief

September 29th, 2007 @ 4:58 am by Elsa

Astrology in Real Life…

lock picksStrong Saturn in evidence here:

The soldier called me last night; he’s visiting one of his old soldiers. He hadn’t seen the guy in nearly 20 years. He spoke quickly and I realized he was calling from the bathroom. In other words, his other personality, the nicknamed one must have been out in the living room. Earlier he told me about the guy. (contains swearing) Continue reading The Soldier And The Thief

Astrology Today - Women On Deck

September 29th, 2007 @ 3:09 am by Elsa

My eye on the sky…

venusThe Moon is involved in a T-square with Venus and Neptune. You might be inspired to be loving and emotionally generous to a woman but too often this turns into the PMS aspect and with Neptune involved someone gets blamed for feelings that are just plain out of whack.

Avoid victimizing or being victimized by a woman - that’s the trick and Mars is in Cancer echoes this theme in a way. Will you attack a woman, or assert your capacity to nurture?

The Venus Neptune Angle On The Failure Of My Bank - Netbank

September 28th, 2007 @ 5:34 pm by Elsa

Astrology in Real Life

neptuneToday, I had the biggest payday I have had in 12 years when I was paid for administrating that blog. Money flowed in, yes?

Then I went to pay bills and found my bank had gone missing.

Pretty funny, don’t you think?

Fact is the money I had will reconstitute (reappear) within a couple of days. It will come back like the tide but I just marvel at how these things could happen on the same day.

Easy come, easy go and all you can do behold the art of the universe. That and try to figure out its tricks.

Because I think this means something of course. Matter of fact I think it means all kinds of things. But in the end, what I have is some more Saturn in Virgo tasks.

I have used Netbank for about nine years. I totally rely on them for bill paying. This is daily routine stuff (Virgo) so now I need a new structure… something safe, ha ha ha. As if I can have that with Saturn / Neptune.

Oh well, how about I go for the illusion of safe? Put my Venus Neptune money in the bank on faith and see if it disappears.

Or maybe I can hide my money in a hole in the ground for fear (Saturn) and then forget where I put it (Neptune). Is that a better idea? :smirk:

Let’s face it, you just can’t hide. And here’s the other thing.

The money comes back so it’s like nothing happened, but that’s an illusion. Something happened all right. A bank failed due bad loans and we all know there is no scarcity of those…

lowell george little feat 1979Venus is what makes you attractive and desirable. Neptune rules music and merging of energy to the point where the lines disappear. Here is a graphic example of my Venus Neptune in action…

Some years back, HQ asked me where I got my morals considering that Henry aside, I pretty much come from an amoral family. It was an interesting question and my answer surprised me. I just rattled it off, too.

“Oh, from music I guess. I heard songs and the people in the songs who were attractive, I became them. I just took on their characteristics on the spot and this worked out for me.” Continue reading “Fat Man In The Bathtub” By Lowell George: Where Did You Get Your Morals? Venus Aspecting Neptune

music notesThe soldier talking about some singer…

“That guy makes me crazy. He writes one whiny song after another. What’s the matter with him? Can’t he get over that girl?”

I just stared.

“Well, P, what’s he going to do? Write about her until he dies? You just know it’s the same girl he’s singing about. One girl left him ten years ago and he’s got to write like… 20 songs about her and I just wish he’d shut up. She left you, you jerk! Get over it! You got you heart broke so now we have to hear about it for 20 years? What’s he going to do? Pine for 30 years?”

“Well that’s what you did.”

“Well yeah. But I only wrote you one song. One song,” he said with his finger raised for emphasis. “One song and I put the guitar down before I turned into something like that guy. Jeez, he just makes me sick. She broke his heart? Well I’d like to break his neck every time I hear him start singing yet another whiny song about his lost love. I just can’t stand it, P. I have to change the channel the minute I hear him start to sing about that girl, I just get so pissed off.”

“Yeah, well everybody has their thing they can’t stand.”

What’s the thing you can’t stand? The thing that makes you want to come down on someone like Saturn (an authority figure)?
