Astrology, Crime, Houdini, Saturn and Neptune

Astrology in Real Life

houdini magic escapeDaeshii writes on the Karma… Justice, Etc. What Goes Around Comes Around blog:

In my experience, karma always happens. In Wicca, we have the threefold rule. Anything you put into the universe, good or bad, comes back to you three times as strong.

Hasn’t the energy you’ve put forth been returned to you in the form of this site, your astrology weekly site, the continued support of us, your fans, and your loyal friends?

Daeshii - this is not really what I was talking about. As an example, I was once with a bunch of cops… this is many years ago back when I thought there was justice. They told me a story about a man who beat his wife constantly. She’d been hospitalized several times due his beating on her and this happened in your hometown by the way. Not your home town, but the very town where you live right now.

So anyway one day this guy, the husband called them up to tell them his wife had fallen into their well. Uh huh. Big accident.
So the cops went out there to retrieve the wife’s body and the husband is standing there smirking at them. He’d gotten away with murder, see? Did he push her? Well they thought so. He was grinning ear to ear and the cops told me this happened… a lot.

So do you think that guy is suffering now? Think he has cancer or something? I don’t. I bet he’s getting a blow job.

And I don’t mean to sound jaded. I like it your way but I have seen it this other way time and time again.

This is not to negate other people’s experience. I don’t think my experience is usual by a shot which is why I am exploring this.
See, the soldier and I have opposite experience and it’s very apparent in real terms. So this is why I wonder what will happen when the lines intersect. Will I see justice and he see injustice? I don’t know but it’s the first thing that occurs and here’s the trippy thing:

Justice is his comfort zone. I am comfortable with injustice. See what I’m getting at? It’s the opposition again. So that’s one angle but here’s another:

The soldier has Saturn BOUND. By that I mean he has hard aspects to Saturn and consequently, there are lines! I have Saturn mashed with Neptune and people and things slip through cracks (like Houdini). Is this meaningful? Probably.

What do you think will happen when these people intersect?

My bf and I are split like you and the Soldier, respectively, so I can kinda see what you’re saying (shhh! don’t tell him! ;-)). And I think this is one of those issues that is harder for the other side to see, because you/he have your experiences and I/he have ours, if that makes any sense.

There was more, but my brain just launched itself out the door and into the intermittent sunshine! ;-)

I would say this is definitely an issue that depends on a person’s personal experiences…for instance, I very much believe in “what goes around, comes around”, but that’s b/c I’ve seen it time and time again.

Remember I mentioned my mom’s 2nd husband who used to beat on her? Until she stood up to him, fought back & he stopped…Well, he didn’t stop being an asshole, unfortunately. He just switched from physical abuse to verbal and mental abuse. Anyway, he was a diabetic who didn’t really take care of himself. To make a long story short, he ended up in a hospital, gangrene eating away at him until he died. Not a pretty way to go, I’m sure.

She later had a bf who was an alcoholic. When he got drunk, he would attack her. Unfortunately for her, he didn’t care when she fought back. I helped her get away from him, and he ended up in jail…where he died from a nasty form of cancer.

Now, my own personal beliefs include a belief in past lives and that we must balance the karma acquired in those lives in our current one. So, did my mom keep attracting these abusive men for a reason? Probably…I don’t know…but I would say, yes.

And like I said, it’s all based on experience…when you intersect, will you finally see justice? Will the soldier see injustice? I don’t really know, but I don’t think so…I think that, even though there are all these “opposites”, the point of view & experience will not change…the only way I think it could change, is if you both were able to see the world thru the other’s eyes. Maybe then? I don’t know… (sorry I rambled so much…heh)

I’m with Lilly on this — it could go either way. Either your relationship will open you up to understanding and owning the other’s perspective yourself, or each of you will just become more entrenched in playing out your side of the polarity. But the safe bet is there won’t be much middle ground between those two outcomes.

You could look at this issue another way, though. Like I know this wonderful woman who is a very good friend of mine, and she is always attracted to men who are sociopaths. Or at least really cocky guys who are jerks. I think maybe on some level she is trying to learn something. As her friend I can point this out to her and give her a book about it, but I can’t make her read the book or date a nice guy. I don’t think she’s done anything wrong to deserve all of this, I just think that for some reason she is choosing this for herself. So, this woman who was beaten and murdered, I think we can agree that she couldn’t have deserved that, and that the guy is a monster, but maybe there was some other dynamic there that we aren’t privy to. Like maybe she’s up in heaven right now saying, “Oh, so that’s what it’s like to be a vitcim. I think next time I’ll be a cop.”

i believe it comes around ultimately, but you don’t always see it.

i also believe in more than one life, so i think sometimes, people might choose a particular life to have a particular set of experiences.

questions like this make me think of something you once said, about nobody who is a bitch is ever happy…so i dunno. i just think there is a bigger picture, and even when you can’t see it from your seat, it doesn’t mean it’s not there…
