The New York Post reports: China Markets May Have Peaked
Tracy Byrnes writes:
“According to the Chinese calendar, 2007 is the year of the pig, and in Chinese astrology that means good fortune.
An investor with an interest in astrology might conclude that this means rich rewards await them if they invest in China. But the reality is that when it comes to investing in China, it might take more than luck to make money.
The Chinese market has had quite a run. Michael Breen, a senior analyst at Morningstar, said that the best performing China-focused mutual funds have returned around 95 percent over the last year. And many have returned approximately 25 percent year-to-date.
But questions remain as to whether this current growth is sustainable….”
I love to see astrology in the mainstream news but I wish they would not couch these things. “May have peaked”? Have they peaked or have they not peaked? This is what we want to know. Non-writing like this drives me insane. And yeah, I know I’m pretty close to the sane/insane line but you know. Tell us something real. Tell us something definitive I wish.

Elsa, They’re not couching the astrological prediction. They’re couching the market prediction. If you read market reports and market type writing they soft-speak most everything except the day’s numbers. I wouldn’t take it personally
“I wouldn’t take it personally”
But that would deprive me of feeling my heart pound and my blood pump… ::snort::
