I was in the gym today and Connie got on the cross-trainer next to me. Connie is an African woman, a Cancer, in love with a Virgo man who drives her crazy. She likes astrology, or at least this astrologer, I mean.

“How’s the guy?” I asked, knowing she would want to talk. Connie loves to talk, even more than I do. I don’t see her often but when I do we go right to 50mph.

“Driving me crazy,” she said.

I smiled. “Yeah, but you love him, it’s obvious.”

“Well I’m going to stop that,” she said.

“How? How are you going to stop your feelings?”

“Just stop ‘em, that’s how,” she said.

“Well it helps if you stop screwing them,” I said. ‘The sex is the hook,” I added. “I find I have a pretty easy time getting over a man if I put my pants on,” I said with a snort. Nearby exercisers looked over but Connie and I don’t care about that. We know we’re normal.

“The sex is gooooooood,” she said. “Ooh.”

“Yeah, but it’s half you. Think about it. I used to think it was the man, but to hell with them if you don’t like them. I can have great sex with anybody,” I said confidently.

She laughed. ‘Yeah, and we don’t have all those problems.”

“What problems?” I asked.

“We don’t need to take rest or anything like that,” she said with a chuckle. “We don’t need recovery time. We don’t need to recover from shit. We just take a deep breath and we’re ready to go again.”

I laughed. “Okay Connie. We’ll you’re right about that. So I guess this guy better figure things out because not only can we have good sex with anyone, we can do it over and over and finding someone to play is about as hard as leaving the house!”

We both snorted.

I am going to have to get the rest of Connie’s chart. I bet you anything she’s got Mars tied up with Mercury.
