Saturn’s Transit Through Virgo - Since You Asked, Here’s What’s Coming!

Astrology in Real Life

walkathonOkay you Virgos, curious about Saturn’s transit through Virgo, today’s advice blog is a perfect (Virgo word) example of how this is going to work…

That gal has an 8th house packed with Virgo, so Saturn is heading into her 8th house. The 8th house has to do with your psychology and how you mix it up with other people. Wherever Saturn is transiting… this is the area where you are going to be learning so she is going to be working (Saturn) on perfecting (Virgo) the way she exchanges energy with others (8th house).

Further, the transit will set off her natal Saturn and in this case, she’s got a Venus Saturn aspect so what happens? A Saturn figure (me) comes along and tells her, look here. This is what you’re going to have to do if you want to progress and get out of your painful circumstances.

And if she takes this challenge her results will be extremely good. And if not? Well there will be no progress at all. She will watch other scamper up the mountain, yes? Leading to feelings of failure and ultimately (hopefully) she decides to start climbing herself.

So in a generic way, all Virgos will be meeting up with Saturn figures (judges, cops, Capricorns, anyone with more experience than you) who will guide you… no small favor by the way. They will show you the path and if you get on it, you’ll find the universe will support you. And one more thing:

henry and pWhen the Saturn figure tells you you’re doing well, believe them! Because this will happen as well. When cops and judges and so forth like you and give you a pass you can be sure you’re “doing the right thing”. And this kind of encouragement is also ultra valuable because there is a tendency to feel “lowly” when Saturn is around. So when you do have support, recognize and accept it. And I have an example of this!

Henry and I (consummate Capricorns) used to go on these charity walk-a-thons… 20 mile walks. He’d always be the oldest, I’d be the youngest. And seeing as it was the desert, along the way they would have water stations. And you get the idea. It is a long walk so when someone hands you water, drink! And when there is no water, keep walking until there is! Get it? There is no support unless you perform!

If you’re thirsty and you sit down… no one is going to bring you a damned thing! But if you walk to the next water station… there is support and a sense of accomplishment and at the end of the day, WOW! You just walked 20 miles!

Leave it to Capricorn to come up with the best description I’ve ever come across on how Saturn transits work. Nothing is as rewarding in the long run as undertaking a Saturn transit exactly as you’ve described! Saturn is sextile my Moon & trine my Venus natally, so I figure I was let off easy on that one. More than one boss I’ve had told me I had “responsible” written across my forehead. :)

Right now I’m reading Anna Karenina and am only now realizing what a Virgoan book it is. Tolstoy was a Virgo and his replacement in the book is Levin. Levin is really involved with labor, agriculture, and social improvements for that aspect of Russian life as well as others. He ponders a lot about living a meaningful life as well as various other things and frequently gets into a mental haze. A big theme is dissatisfaction with self for Levin, Anna, and the rest of the characters which I think is Virgoan although I’m not sure. Like Levin having a special frown that expresses deep displeasure with himself. And the characters have an obsession with clarity and self-improvement. Plus of course the thing with morality: adultery/virginity in marriage.
I just read this quote: “‘I don’t think so,’ said Levin, with a smile, feeling, as usual, touched by the other’s low opinion of himself, which was not the least affected from desire to appear, or even be, modest, but was quite sincere.”

I used to think Tolstoy was a Leo in the way that in the book he is this God of a resplendent, colorful, filled universe. But I guess I can see a little of how Tolstoy/the book is Virgoan now. I just thought this would be relevant/you guys would find it interesting.

You know, Elsa, your blog is helping me start to realize the value of being guided by a Saturn figure. Harsh bluntness and all.
