Meeting Gemini

Astrology in Real Life…

air popped popcornI am also meeting Gemini! They have so many ideas. They hook you up with their ideas in such rapid fashion it takes me a few days to catch up and catch on after a session.

And I notice that even when the subject is heavy, they are light. Remember air-popped popcorn? Like that!

Can you keep up with Gemini?

Keeping up with a Gemini? Psh! Please haha.
It took me months to make a newly Gemini friend laugh to the point that she didn’t have some witty thing to throw back to me. — Actually, no wait, I’m wrong. She has ALWAYS had something witty. And in different styles! And colors! And shades! All you can try to do is learn how to keep up for the few minutes while you have their attention really. They often have other people they like to talk to, too! So, they usually need to make the rounds, before they come back.

Yes, the few Gemini friends I have do make light of even things I consider serious issues. Or at least they jab and poke at it from different angles. Which sometimes helps a lot, sometimes hurts/annoys a lot, depending. But, they usually know their, um, “audience”, pretty well to … communicate their way out of it alright. :-P

As a proud Gemini, I had been thinking of posing the question: What do each of us think of our sun signs? I, of course, think Gemini is the best and am lucky to be a twin. Do other signs feel that way? Is there a Taurus out there wishing he/she were a Pisces? (a lot of this has to do with the rest of our charts)…but, as a whole are we proud of our sun signs?

I have Gemini moon. *I* can hardly keep up with all my ideas and thoughts! And it helps me be so detached from my emotions. I love that!

But I only know one other Gemini, a cousin (Sun), who has always inspired big ideas in me. I wish I knew more Gems.

I don’t care for my Cap sun sign all that much. But it probably keeps me grounded and helps me accomplish some of the Gem ideas. I feel much more Aquarian (Asc/Venus) and Sag (10th/11th/Mars/Merc/Sat) most of the time.

Oh my gosh, I have that exact popper! And that’s about as close as I get to Gemini. I have Gemini intercepted in my empty 7th house and it’s the sign I know the least.

I can keep up, but I get irritated with them quickly. More often than not, there’s no depth!! No substance!! And heaven only knows if they’re being honest or just amusing themselves. No thanks, I’ll pass.

My favourite person ever is a Gemini! And I like the fact that they don’t want to go wading around in the emotion mire always. Of course my bestie has feelings: she just doesn’t make everyone else wear them. And she finds my inappropriate jokes about incest and eugenics hilarious, when most people are appalled. And I could know her for 20yrs and never get to the bottom of her- What’s not to love about that?

From my experience, Gemini is a great friend for a Leo. My Gemini friends go with me on intellectual and spiritual walks. They are very accepting and make me laugh during miserable times. I have Gemini in the 7th house and have seen a great partnership at work with a Gemini. My recent “romantic” relationship of 5 years was a Gemini - that was great, but, with a bunch of Scorpio in my 8th house - I found him to be “flighty” and, to use my mom’s words “fickle”. He love me - but his friends and acquaintances were much more important to him.
