Who Are Your Astrological Heroes?

Ask the Collective…

astrology zodiac sunAfter writing that review on James Braha’s book, I ran across this on the Matrix Astrology software site:

Who Are Your Astrological Heroes?

So who are your heroes? Who has inspired you and how?

BETTY LUNSTEAD! Her books can be hard to find but they are the MOST ACCURATE delineations that I have ever studied, in plain language that is not hard to understand and apply.

I enjoy READING Steven Forrest but his PROSE is soooo flowery–hard to make it real..

But Betty–bless her soul (she passed away not so long ago?)continues, through her books, to be a great teacher!

First and foremost, my teacher Carole Devine. She gave me the motivation, the means, and the confidence to roll up my sleeves and dig in instead of dancing around at the edges ad infinitum. And to name a few others via their lectures and books: Rob Hand, Steven Forrest, Marion March, Alan Oken, Donna Cunningham, Tracy Marks, Joan Negus.

Elsa, I must say you are one.
Joan Hodgson, Liz Greene, Caroline Casey, Robert Willkinson, and BLESS HIM!…Zolar!
I found a tattered, mouldy, smelly, water-logged copy of Zolar’s Book of Reincarnation on a porn-riddled bookshop in Bangkok and couldn’t believe my luck! (Pluto & NN in Libra/9th House, what a fine setting for finding Zolar)!

Maya, bless her soul, and Daykeeper Journal; the phenomenal people who keep StarIQ out there; Risa of Nightlightnews.com; on a more personal basis, my long-time friend, Cerena of ItsAstrological, in Santa Barbara!

    Hi Elsa!

My hero is my husband John Townley and he is on my top 10 list!

A generous soul who always shares the good will and wealth with all, starting with “Planets in Love” (still to this day one of my all-time faves) he is the person who introduced composite charts and I still love John’s book “Composite Charts”, “Dynamic Astrology” on cycles and career most useful, “Lunar Returns” just for a fun easy read cookbook type book, not to mention timeless articles and reports spanning generations for the good of all. Nuff said:-)

    Fair winds, Starry skies,

    Susan Townley
