Venus is conjunct Uranus in Pisces this week. Uranus, known for quirk, Pisces for transcendence. And I am going to travel this weekend in ugly pants.
However, I know this is right. Because they pants are eccentric (Uranus) and I will have to transcend them (Pisces) for love (Venus)… so this is the plan. I’m gonna do it.
But as y’all know HQ is my sanity check, so last week I wrote this:
“HQ? It’s occurred to me that it would be in my best interest to look at bad as possible on my trip…”
…and hit “send”.
And I wondered what he would say.
Would he call me a “unique individual” again? You know. Would he insinuate I was strange? Or would he have something new?
I waited for the verdict and guess what?
He agreed with me! He said he agreed it would me most advantageous to look as terrible as possible so this is what I’m going to do. So how’s that for upsidedown day?

Well, that explains what ~I~ just did. And no, I can’t tell what, publicly, because it would break the confidentiality of the other person involved. But now I understand WHY I just did what I just did! Cool!
And those pants? Mannnnn… ~cringes and looks away~
Not now, but I spent years wearing a dressing gown - a real quality one, because in England you can’t easily get coloured coats for men. A Nigerian guy told me he’d done the same when he came to live in England.
Straw - I am going to strut in those pants, bay-beeee. You better believe it.

I must be strange because I thought it made sense.
And yes, I’ve fallen in love with very odd man who adores me right back, but he’s gone for a month so we have to transcend the reality of being apart and so many other challenging and interesting realities in our lives. I don’t think I could explain it all if I wrote an essay but yes. Venus, Uranus, Pisces. Makes so much sense to me for that to be in our sky right now.

I am lusting after someone who is way too young for me right now. That’s how my Venus/Uranus (in the fifth house!) week is going. It’s not something I can act on because I’m all Saturn Return psycho and he’s barely legal and that’s incredibly doomed (and I have a seventh house stellium, so flings aren’t my thing), but if he was my age I’d so want to.
The sad thing is (and you know this is sad coming from a Venus square Saturn girl who HATES HATES HATES anyone knowing that she likes them!), I am pretty sure he figured out that I was eyeing him. I am so embarrassed, you have no idea. Especially since I don’t plan on acting on it and who knows what he thinks about the whole thing, other than “OMG she’s old!” *sigh*
It’s all the stars’s fault. Will this go away when Uranus is out of my fifth?
Hm, no obvious venus-uranus effect… that i can think of. exept i’m falling in love with someone and it has been liberating for many reasons, liberating from the past, and from negative patterns.
TRanscendence is maybe on the fact he lives in another country and is very kind /piscean.
Also, I’m a pisces and lately i’ve been having loads of men being interested in me, and i found it strange but had no idea what was happening, so it must be venus in pisces!
It’s a good time to be a pisces.

Huh. Maybe I should try the ugly pants thing, too. About all that I have noticed this week is that my money has suddenly tried to disappear on me (not through theft, just somehow my budget went wack), yet there is also a chance I will get a $$ break in one area that I normally don’t. It’s dependent on a third person, tho’, so I’m not holding my breath!
As for love, well…my beau & I have our Venuses and Uranuses all tied up in squares & conjunctions by synastry anyway (with a little 12th house tossed in, too) so we’re always a little here & there, yet connected in a way somehow beyond the mundane, already. I wouldn’t even *notice*, those energies being exactly what we are all of the time. Heh.
Hm. I just looked up this transit/conjunction. Spooky. It’s at, what? 13 degrees Pisces? And I have Venus squaring in Gem in that degree…and Uranus opposing that in Virgo just a few degrees up…and then I see that Jupiter is transiting at about 14-15 degrees Sag…
Wow! No wonder I’ve been so Grandly Cross today!
Well, I have been having some pretty major self-esteem and appearance issues (this is itself is quirky because I am Leo with a Leo ego), and it is my goal to work through and transcend these feelings. I’m actually thinking about getting a lip ring to symbolize this commitment to myself (there’s Uranus for you). Of course, no one knows any of this because this is all happening in my 12th house.
Elsa, you are a couragous woman :-)! I would not dare travel in ugly pants - see I am superstitious about this. I have an outfit which is my travel outfit, and they are pants and a black top instead of the skirts and dresses I normally always wear. But they are nice pants. Wide, soft and flowy and cognac-coloured. I loooooove these pants.
As for quirky venus: I don’t think so - transcendence YES, big time, in relationships and work. I have to go with the flow, go under and trust I will come up again. But, have done this many times before, so I suppose I will be fine…
Venus conjunct Uranus and unexpected, and so far unexplained, deaths of women. Ericka Ortiz (sister of the Crown Princess Letizia) on the 7th and Anna Nicole Smith yesterday.
What was the question? Oh… Venus and Uranus. Quirky. I have Venus in Pisces (widely conjunct Saturn in Pisces) natally so my Venus returns are all about art and “creative” entertaining and buying beautiful things. I could easily go broke during these transits but I “feed” (Cancer rising) my need to buy beautiful things and food by shopping on the internet but never paying for stuff
Everything goes into the virtual cart, from Waterford crystal and damask linens to caviar and vintage Port wine… and I don’t buy it. It satisfies my need to buy and enjoy beautiful things without going into debt.
I love to cook and frequently invite friends over. I tell everyone one item to bring - potatos or rice, garlic, tomatos, peppers, other veggies, bread, wine, and so on - and I supply the main protein. They sit around and watch me come up with something from all the things they brought and then we eat, by candlelight, on my collection of (purposly) mis-matched fine china
With Uranus in the mix right now I’ve bought a pinata and it’s hanging from the ceiling light waiting for tomorrow nights Mexican fiesta. (little Jupiter in Sag going on here too) 
Oh, and everyone has been ordered to wear their best “bib and tucker”. I’ll die happy if just one of the guys shows up in a tuxedo.
No. No. And no to all three questions. This is a very low point in my life. Not feeling any Venus or Uranus AT ALL. Would love for that to change, given that the low energy is mostly due to feeling like I’m in a mile deep rut in muddy terrain.
Jennifer, is Saturn in your 7th house, too (like me?) Because age diff. is something that comes up with this placement..my partner and I both have 7th house Saturns and we’re really far apart in ages (me being younger than him).

My Venus is in Libra, moon in Pisces.
On top of all this, Valentine’s Day is my absolute favorite holiday of all. And what a shock, I’ll be alone..so to speak. I do have a very cute dark-eyed 8 yr. old Valentine who will probably make me a science-themed card. But I’ll miss out on stuff I adore like flowers, restaurants, champagne, dressing up, jazz trios or tinkling pianos…..(heavy sigh..)

I have that transitting venus/uranus on my sun. the last two days people have been commenting about my appearance (new hair? that scarf brings out your eyes, etc.). I bought some white plastic aviator bubble sunglasses yesterday and have been wearing them with my white puffy vest. I’ve been getting stares since then, and not particularly the good kind. I’m okay with that.
