Creative Pause

Ask The Collective…

zodiacI am having a creative pause while I obsess, accept, and then transcend the indignities I am going to have to suffer in order to pull off my next set of hijinks in the finest style imaginable.

I’m weary, believe me. ::wipes brow::

So meantime, what you guys want to talk about on here? Topics??

Is it possible to determine based on your chart where would be the best place for you to live. Like would you be happiest in London or maybe Rio would be the happiest place for an individual to live. Something like that would be interesting to me.

Tam - google astrocartography. Personally, I know very little about it… so could just give an overview. But there are people out there will lots of skills. :-)

Tell us where to look in ours and our partners’ chart for maximum sexual satisfaction. That would be EXTREMELY good and fun information to have!

Oh Tam and Elsa, astro.com has a cool feature with a map. If you set up an account and add your info you can access it.

That reminds me. I should go check out me in Ireland. *laugh*

I think you could go on vacation by having readers try to tell stories in your style.

Or you could solicit endings/resolutions to old questions on the blog. I’d think that HQ could sift and add the appropriate “endings” as it were.

Hmmm maybe I’m having a creative pause too!

You absolutely *do* have a style. Whenever I have a problem now, I write a letter to Elsa in my head, then I answer it a la Elsa. :-P It’s kinda like WWJD (What Would Jesus Do) except I make it WWES (What Would Elsa Say). It has saved me a lot of money on therapy. (I gave up my shrink.) :-D

I also tell stories a la Elsa now (in my head). (I know, I need to go back to my shrink, *pronto*!) :-D

Girl, you couldn’t hide your style if you tried. Put six pieces in front of me, with no author identified, and I’ll pick yours out after the first three words. (OK — maybe a full sentence.)

Actually, someday, when you make it big and the standup comics discover you — watch out!! They’ll have a field day with you!! :-D

But first… we must get you on Oprah!! :-)

(So, you may want to go practice being seen in public without that paper bag over your head… ;-) )

I am tired of hearing about infidelity. And people who sleep with people who are married with children. I must sound naive, but I feel like I can’t relate.

I am totally with PixieDust. More about sexuality!! Sexuality and astrology in the post-modern world? The post-post-modern world…? Ah, never mind…

Lets talk about marriage in philsophical terms. I think marriage is a social thing not driven by heavens. I see my friends suffer in marriages. I see them having affairs. I see them finding distractions. I see culture moving towards accepting “open marriages” sooner or later.

I want to know about t-squares and how to resolve them, if possible.

Another thing I’m interested in is the 12th house–I have a very hard time understanding what this house represents. What I’ve read: that it’s the house of “self-undoing”, secret enemies, prisons, monasteries, etc.–well, it sounds absolutely awful and it sounds so abstract and vague!!

Yeah, Marly, I am super interested in the 12th house too! If you can get a hold of Tracy Marks book about the 12th house, it is fantastic.

I also am interested in discussing marriage in philosophical terms. Traditional gender roles bore the hell out of me!

Yes Elsa you have a style, I do as strawberry does, I think What-would-Elsa-Say when I need a reality check, which is often.

I have no special requests for sujects. Though saturn and relationships are useful for me and other people having saturn transit to the 7th.

I’m with the 12th house crowd…my 12th house must be a hip pad because almost all of the planets are there!

The 9th house gemini wants to hear about people’s/elsa’s thoughts on using astrology as a social filter. For example, let’s say you meet someone who you later find you have a traditionally strong negative aspect in synastry with (or maybe it isn’t the aspects, but something you’ve met before in a relationship and found to be destructive). Would you back off them anywhat or pursue/relate to them as you naturally would regardless of the astrology? Would it be “smart” to essentially avoid certain placements? or perhaps counterproductive to, I dunno, personal growth?

What was astrology originally tapped for? Maybe we should go there first…
