Astro Twins - It Strikes Again

Astrology In Real Life…

helmetIt’s really uncanny how I meet these pairs of people. Did you read the Little Mike story? The guy who got in my bed is the astro-twin of the AMF. That is, they were born just days apart on the same year.

Then there was the Tale of Two Pisces. Remember them? Two women contacted me for consultations about six months apart. They lived across the country from each other, and both of their husbands… who had the same name had cheated on them. But here’s the kicker: Their husbands cheated with the same woman! And yeah. They’re astro-twins.

There is a gal who comments this blog… I was attracted to her comments right away and later found out she is astro-twin to my very close friend, Stevie! And then today, another…

And this time, I called it in advance. I just knew it. See, there has been a man at the gym who has pursued me for months, like a dog. I told him I had a man… repeatedly. Nothing stops him.

Eventually I got so pissed off I confronted him with my colorful swear words. You know… “What the fuck is the matter with you anyway? I thought I told you no, you stupid bastard!” Seriously. I said this. “Get the fuck away from me!” This was after about ten attempts to pick me up and lots of relentless slobbering, so anyway, he laid off for about a day after that… before he started up again, and then last week he cornered me and started jabbering. I used to call him “my suitor” but started calling him “The Salesman” because he just keeps coming. You know.

“I don’t want your vacuum cleaner!!”

“Sure you do!”

Because I have slammed the door in the guys face… repeatedly.

So anyway he corners me and come to find out he’s from my home town in the desert. This surprised me. And while he was at it, he mentioned the year he was born and the hospital. Because I know the town, right?

So later I am talking to my ex the Special Forces guy. “He’s born your year. I bet he has your chart,” I joked. “I bet that bastard… was born right when you were.” And to make this all weirder…

The Salesmen was born on the base where the SF guy was stationed when I met him! So anyway, I saw that guy today.

“When is your birthday?” I asked without elaborating.

He spits it out. It’s a few days later than the SF guy, so I count in my head…

The SF guy has a Scorpio Moon. The Salesman… you guessed it. Aquarius Moon! All the men I know… all the men who like me have one or the other. It never fails. I just shook my head.

So now I know what I already knew. He’ll never stop coming. I can swing a motorcycle helmet at him and he’ll just smile, won’t he? We know this. We know it because the SF guy has told me he would track me for the rest of his life like a dog on a scent. Egads!

The guy in the Little Mike story has a Scorpio Moon. The AMF born a few days later with the Moon in Aquarius. Can you believe this? ::shakes head:: And these are not my only stories! I live in a hall of mirrors - it never ends.

So does this ever happen to you? Do you knows pairs of people? Astro-Twins?

My most recent ex and my second husband were born about 28 hours apart. Both Aries with Capricorn moon. For the longest time if I found a man attractive, he would be Aries or Aries ascendant. Lately every man who talks to me is a Libra. Guess I’m looking at the other side of the coin these days.

Not exactly astro-twins but my only two long term relationships have been with guys born on the same day, some hospital, 1 year apart. I think I’ve learned my lesson ;) But I have an astro-twin that I found here on your blog!

This is so funny because I had lunch today with my 2nd cousin, haven’t seen her in 10 years, hadn’t really had a conversation with her in about 15 and it was like we are leading totally parallel lives. “I had such and such happen” “Me too” down to having breech babies, crazy in-laws, and recreating ourselves. I didn’t go into the astrology with her, but for the first time in a while I felt a kindred soul with the whole Pluto transit thing. Of course, the hard part of seeing my reflection, is seeing all of it, the parts of me that I’m not so crazy about, but now, as a grown woman, that wasn’t so bad. Is it possible to be friends with yourself?

Heather, great question, I’ve been asking myself that for years - what if I’ll meet someone that is exactly like me? Would I like to be my friend? My first response when I was a teen was: Hell, no! I can hardly deal with one of me, I don’t need another one on my hands. Besides, it would be kinda boring because you already have one specimen of you, so you’d want to know other types of people, and you’ll probably agree on too many things and won’t need too many words to understand each other, so what are you going to talk about and what’s the point of that? I kept on thinking like that for about 20 years, but recently I started to change my mind a bit - maybe it wouldn’t be that bad after all. We would at least understand each other and I’m not all THAT bad to hang around with. It would be kinda fun to like the same jokes and the same music, have the same priorities and the same needs, know each other deeply for better and for worse - every fault you have will reflect right back at you, but you may also discover some nice things you didn’t know about yourself. But then, are we going to like the same guys? Hmm, that wouldn’t be so sweet. So it’ll have to be a male me. I wonder if I could fall inlove with a male me? And what would that be like? It gives me the creeps.

Well, I have the same chart as my dad. And there are some nonexact astro-twins around me. One pair of them married each other :)

Similiar to astro-twins, and what has perplexed me for a while, is that most of the people around have a doubled up dose of one sign, on their sun and their moon. I’m surrounded by a bunch of extremes!

For example, my mother is a Gemini sun, Gemini moon; one of my best friends a Leo sun, Leo moon; another is a Sadge sun, Sadge moon; another friend is a Pisces sun, Pisces moon; another friend is a Virgo sun, Virgo moon; and it goes on. WTF?

With these kind of coincidences in the people we are close to or drawn to, who can *not* believe a bit in astrology??!

When I began studying astrology, I found that a close friend who I find maddening at times is an Aries Sun/Aquarius Moon like my Mom. She also has a packed 12th house. A stellium, in fact! No wonder I like her, with my Venus/Mars in Aries and 12th house Neptune conjunct Venus/Mars. ! She’s my ‘friendship gift’ from the universe, and astrology has helped me appreciate how incredible she really is: a trailblazing humanitarian. And this in turn helped me realize how amazing my Mom is (after eons of frustration).

Ha ha, joke’s on me!

Thanks Debby, and I agree, I wasn’t all that great of a friend at 16, but I’m thinking I would like to be a friend of the grown up version of me. But come to think about it, my first love was a close astro twin, we were born 1 day apart, different time zone. And we had a great time!

As for the question of whether we can be friends with ourselves, I am of the school of thought that says we can. In fact, I think we meet and greet ourselves every day of our life. I honestly believe that I am other people and they are me, just by virtue of interaction.

Hm, let’s see…other than that I’m constantly awash in Leos, usually early August ones, and can’t seem to attract anything else (or stay away from, for that matter)…

I seem to have a knack for finding folk with my own birthday. Growing up, my first boyfriend (we were 11!) was born the same day/year as me (and being a sentimental Cancer, I still have the stuffed dog he gave me as a Valentine’s gift, heh). And then in high school I had a classmate who was also born the same day/year…And then as an adult, I had a co-worker for 6 years whose birthday matched mine (diff. year, tho’), and currently have two more whose birthdays are just one day after mine (and my bosses’ wife is, too, tho’ all three are diff. years).

The most startling co-incidence, tho’? My daughter has a mother (me), and an aunt (her father’s sister), and an uncle (my sister’s husband) who all share the same birthday (with diff. years).

How weird is *that*???

No, I dont think so. I havent actually thought about it. But, my mother has. She married her exs twin. they even were born in the same hospital and went to school together until high school.

Every man I’ve ever loved - really, deeply, loved - born on November 19, different years, different States. The two most important were born within an hour of each other, 3,000 miles apart. Their birth cities? Sister cities of each other.

In high school I had a “friend” who was born exactly 24 hours before me, but in a different town. Could.Not.Stand.Her! The only major difference between our charts were her Mercury at 11, not 13 Aries, the Moon at 1 Virgo instead of 15, and the Sun at 24, not 25 Pisces. Weird. We could not have been less alike in personality if we tried but our charts were nearly identical.

This year I met two people who were born on the same exact date as me: same day, same year, different places and times, though.

One is the best friend of an occasional lover. The other was the female ultrasound technician I met at an appointment some weeks ago.

I ran their charts just to see how they differed from mine and all I can say is that Aug. 1, 1969 had some majorly bad karma when it came to Venus.

On a related note, I have found that I can hit it off with any women whose birthdays are March or August 28. My ex-husband and last bf were born August 29 and 30, respectively and from now on I’ll be keeping my distance from any guy born near those dates. Also, I will usually hit it off intellectually with any guy born June 2nd. My mother and a close friend were both born June 6. I also have had close friends who were born in mid-May.

heatherl - on people with the same sun and moon sign-what you’re going to get (as far as i can see, anyway)with that is people who’s behavior or outer image and feelings match up pretty well. i call it the “what you see is what you get” effect. the sun is the face to the world and the moon is the internal face, more or less.

that’s my thought anywho.

My long time boyfriend (Oct24) share’s the same birthday as one of my close friends. It’s really uncanny in some ways, yet they have so many differences.
