Now regarding having your chain jerked, it makes a big difference what a person’s motive is. Scott in particular can get away with anything… or at least he has to date. And it’s because he’s so funny. There is always some truth in what he says and he is never malicious!
He doesn’t want to hurt. He wants provoke emotion. And if you don’t like your emotions provoked, then I guess you don’t like Scott. But if you don’t mind being amused with some hot heat in the equation, then he is as fine a specimen as could be found out there.
And Marly wondered how he took the heat when it was turned on him and he takes it very well! This is exactly what he after in the first place! He wants to duel! He wants to piss you off and see you express yourself. Remember? Scott is quoted:

The point is if you have Pluto hooked up with your personal planets… then you are in fact a heat-seeking missile. You can deny it all day long, but fact is you need other people’s energy, the more concentrated the better.
And if you know someone who’s got this and can deliver it, then you’re going to be back. And that’s how Scott and I got stuck in this relationship for thirty years!

Oh, no, I’m not seeking heat. I’m a sensitive Pisces Moon, Cancer rising. I wilt. So what if I have a Pluto/Moon opposition bound up with Venus? So what, I say?
I have my own Scott who also goes by Scotty and also likes to say shocking things. So he comes over the other night and he’s straight from running six miles and he’s wearing these awful shorts.
“What’s up with the shorts?” I say. “Are they from the 80s?”
“Fuck you,” he says and I start roaring uproariously. “So what if they are?”
And I suprised myself when I almost screamed: “Man, I love you.” Stopped myself just in time or I’d never see that boy again. One of the things I like about him is that when I say something that jolts him and it happens to be true, he’ll squirm but then he will own up and admit that it might be true. He can take it.
I’m a sensitive, sweet Pisces Moon, you see.

Pluto is conjunct the Moon and Mars in Virgo in the 3rd. I need other people to stimulate my mind and keep me focused (grounded) on the here and now. Even when it’s annoying, which it is most of the time. With Cancer rising I do like retreating into my shell
I “deliver”… the same I guess. I’m the one everyone comes to when they need practical advice (Virgo), especially my family.
i have a lot of pluto connections with my personal planets, but the tighest appears to be merc conjunct pluto. 0.58 degrees. also have mars sextile pluto, among other things. my chart has lots of mercury.
and it’s true i can pack a punch with my mouth. usually i don’t use this for evil (unless somebody is REALLY asking for it, but that seldom happens). in particular, i can cut to the heart of a matter and have a talent for putting truth in a way that’s difficult to ignore or deny. i guess that’s the pluto, huh? my kids call me “the reality check queen” sometimes.
hubby and i and the rest of the family do some verbal sparring for fun, not arguing, but quipping back and forth. i’m known in my circle for my honesty.

That’s for lack of a better word, interesting, how Scott loves to be around people with strong emotions. I don’t know if I can relate. It sort of reminds me of the type of people who love to instigate arguments and conversation, specifically literary characters like Hazel in Cannery Row who loves to ask people questions and goad them into talking simply because he loves the sound of conversation and Count Rostov in War and Peace who loved to get people heated up and emotional in arguments and conversation around him, sitting back, listening and smoking his pipe. Similar type of thing to what Scott has it seems :-). I’ve probably met people like that. I definitely know people, usually Libras I find, who love to start political arguments and things like that. Some people goad people into displaying strong emotions for their amusement, maybe. Me, I haven’t noticed that in myself. I also doubt if I can focus on people talking that heatedly and that long. I like to goad people into telling their stories/gossiping about themselves and other people :-).
When they find out they can do it, people jerk my chain a little too much. I’m gullible, dammit.
I have sun, mars, venus and pluto together.. i LOVE what you described. I just hated sending it to the wrong person. Now i’m dating and using that energy to hunt down someone who can take it and dish it back in a beautiful loving way.
scorpio rising with an exact moon/pluto square - and i will have to be the exception… when i catch myself provoking people emotionally - there is usually something off balance within that needs attention.
it has been an evolution away from “heat” - towards more composure and presence in the moment, and as a result, i am finding myself connecting to others in more sublte, but infinitely more satisfying, emotional ways….
oy yoy yoy! my husband has mars conjunct pluto and he is a SERIOUS PUPPET MASTER and i am his sometimes UNwilling marionette … the only thing is these planets of his are in libra so he rarely admits to pulling the strings … PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE TO THE MAX! but the more i see what he’s doing the more i learn how to control myself (like he does so very well …) if anything mars conjunct pluto makes him SO GOOD AT DOING IT!!! it’s my favourite combo in a mang FO SHO frustruating in arguments BUT WAY HOT DANS LE SACK
I have Merc and Mars conjunct Pluto and love to bounce ideas off other people. Talking aloud helps me think. Motion and action do too. I’m seeking mutual drama of communication and action.
I have a t-square with Mars, Merc, and Pluto, altho Pluto is “out of sign” for a “real” t-square, with Mars in the middle, and I, too, like to think aloud but I have to talk to someone to do that. When I am stuck at something, all I often need to do is to go tell someone the problem. The very act of telling it to someone acutally sparks an idea or solution - before the other person even responds! Could be because Merc is in the 7th house!
I have moon 18 degrees libra, pluto 19 degrees libra, ascendant 20 degrees libra, and mars 21 degrees libra. what does that mean?????
Oh… I can relate to being a heat seeking missile. Yet its not a constant thing. My Pluto is trine Venus, square the Sun and with Pluto conjunct Uranus jerking someone’s chain is very spasmodic and irregular. One needs to feel very confident to bait someone for fun. Its a lot safer with friends I’ve known for a very long time. And it requires energy to handle people’s responses. Not always feeling confident or have the energy for it.
Haha! I have this exact combination…Venus in an exact conjunct Mars (6 deg) both in a wide conjunction with Pluto (13 deg) all in Libra in my 5th. I get completely bored with “slow, getting-to-know-you” relationships and always end up shaking the guy up and probably scaring him to death. I am attracted to strong men who can take what I can dish out and give it right back…otherwise I’ll get bored and leave.
