   My brother was telling me same thing last night (re: gov’t) — even though he wasn’t coming at it from an astrology perspective, but something else. Actually, that’s twice recently we have this conversation (initiated by him). He’s obviously very much picking up on this, as are many in his circle (non-astrologers).

   Capricorn is also business. So, personally, I’m also expecting the underbelly/shadow of that to also be exposed/aired out.

   I kept thinking coporations, the dark side of corporations will emerge. IN america, you sell your soul to fit or shape up to the corporation standards, and they are mostly the ones who run televisions, news channels, control everything, even the government. So in my deepest dreams, I hope this will emerge.

   Personally, I think that Capricorn and Pluto will be a perfect mix. Capricorn is ruled by Saturn, and we need some Saturn in the world of business and governments alike!
   Discipline! Accountability! Blah blah blah! And not just lip-service. Everyone can TALK about how *effed* corporations are and how crazy the government is…see also with Sadge we have ‘truth,’ and I think with Cap/Pluto we’ll get the action we really need.
   Some goddmamn goats to lead us off the cliff before we plunge off!
   Bring on Capricorn and get busy! No more talk. It’s time to lay the ground work, the foundations of a humane, good-for-all society down. Building a foundation so we can climb the heights. And of course goats are individual. It won’t be enough to point fingers…we’ll all have to examine what we can do individually…beginning with voting, which I hope everyone has done that can (I’m Canadian, so all I can do is send you all my good vibes).
   I can’t wait!

   Yep! I just thought of this hearing about Ted Haggard and a bevy of other things the first time about yesterday. I literally looked into the newspaper and saw about four titles about political corruption and this. And I thought of you. So funny that you post it now. The dark underbelly is totally being revealed.

    Pluto in Capricorn? So you say you want a revolution? Yeah, that’s what’s coming baby. 1776 started in 1760.

    While Big Business and Government will crumble under the strain of corruption, small business and government (the netroots movement) will thrive early on. As long as they don’t get too cocky with their victories.

    The courage of the Goat will help us conquer the fears instilled by the snakes in power now.

    Practical solutions to everyday problems (woot! My Virgoness less that!).

    We have to watch out for dogmatism keeping it’s strangle hold on us. Rules and structure are important but so too is individual freedom.

    It’s going to be a painful transit, Pluto through Capricorn. There is going to be a great deal of upheval of the status quo and that’s never fun.

    I’ve been looking for some good information on the Pluto shift. The best conclusion I can draw from my investigations and contemplations is that Pluto (the planet of Morality, from what I can gather) will make things change from the focus on Adventure and Physicality (ie. spy movies, body-building) to a more ideological and intellectual focus (attributes I have noticed in my cappy friends). Things will move from the Openness of sag to the Hiddenness of Cap (in a way regressing things back to the 80’s) and will move from flightiness to steadiness, making all the ‘jack-of-all-trades’ out there settle down and pick something to work towards.

    Pluto into Capricorn? Many of us could get the feel of it when Pluto nearly got to 29 degrees of Sagittarius at the end of March 2007.
    Capricorn is black, square, limiting.
    Pluto was opposing Capricorn from July 1913 until it finally left Cancer in mid-June 1939. In this period we not only experienced the “Great” War, or World War I, and the build-up to World War II but also the depression of the 1920’s, lead by the downturn in the United States economy. We are already seeing the first signs of another American depression: falling house prices, failing dollar, poor economic leadership.
    Pluto going through Cancer was a bad time for families; poverty, lack of work and loss of family members in the wars or the influensa outbreak of 1918. Dark Ages.
    Capricorn rules, amongst many other things, the economy, dictatorial government, old age, old people and death, engineering and industry, mining, property and property owners, skin disease, but also discipline, responsibility and parenting, particularly fatherhood.
    Some of the countries said to be ruled by Capricorn are Afghanistan, the Antartic and Artic, Bosnia, Greece, India, New Zealand, the Pacific Ocean, Russia, Scotland, Siberia, Tibet and the Vatican. Texus and Utah are also ruled by Capricorn.
