Astrology, Astro-Twins, Peter Pan, Cheating and Scott
Outtakes and Various Other Sundries…
Yesterday, I got a question from someone born the same day as Scott, same year. His astro-twin. Boy do I know that chart, or what? At the same time, this gal is born some hours later than Scott, so the wheel is turned, the planets falling in different house and she’s had a completely different life.
This has happened to me a few times. Well it’s happened four times, anyway. Inadvertently stumbling on someone’s astro-twin that is. For example, have you ever heard of Peter Pan? The internet version?
Well, about ten years ago I wrote this guy for his birth data. I was contemplating a project back then and you might imagine surprise when he mailed back his birth data and it was just hours off the birth data of one of the most prominent astrologers on the internet. I thought this was significant because both men had achieved some serious notoriety early days, online.
And then there was the gal who wrote me for a consultation because some gal had screwed her husband. She was a Leo rising, Pisces with the late sixties Pluto Uranus conjunction.
Imagine my surprise when six months later, another Leo rising Pisces with that conjunction emailed me because some gal had screwed her husband and get this:
It was the same gal!! The same gal screwed both of these women’s husbands and not only did they not know each other, they lived in different states! Now what are the odds?
Anyway years ago, the newsgroup alt.astrology used to maintain a database of birth so people could look for their astro-twin. They probably still do, if you’re interested in this. I will save my best astro-twin story for another day, but what about you?

it turns out to be such a small world. the astro-twin thing, and finding out I wasn’t the only one with such a strange problem, made me feel so much better about that fiasco. I think it made her feel less alone too. the best thing that came out of it, however, was getting to know you.
Elsa, if I told you every time you post something how there is almost always a synchronous event in my own life, you would think I made it up, or I was some kind of freakish satanic stalker or something, so I usually keep these synchronicities to myself. But I have to tell you THIS one!
Today, you post about astro-twins, and I do have a bunch of stories I could tell there. But that is not what I want to tell you.
I want to tell you about a ~quasi~ astro-twin of mine who has just showed up in my life after a parting of the ways 8 years ago and no contact since. On the very day ~you~ write about astro-twins. Like: ~today~, of all days, after 8 years!!
Our birthdays are ~not~ identical, but close. Our charts are very similar. Our suns are conjunct. We both have a 4-part stellium in Libra. Her True Node is smack dab EXACTLY on top of my Ascendant. Her Uranus is smack dab EXACTLY on top of my Moon. Her Mars/Venus are fairly tightly conjunct my Pluto/Venus. Her Pluto is conjunct my Uranus.
This (and more, not mentioned) made for a highly erotically charged and ‘electric’ tango, you can imagine!!
And I have that Neptune/Venus thing going, so you can imagine what my ‘dreaming her up’ did on top of all the above!!! (Oh what a year!! And this was a ~platonic~ relationship!)
She’s back. Knocking at my door. I haven’t answered yet.
Godamn Neptune/Venus!!! (Good timing, you writing about that a lot lately! I have issues there, with another person too. Two actually. Three now with this person having resurfaced!!)
Actually in a way, yes, I have seen this kind of pattern very recently (unless I’m misunderstanding, which is very possible).
I was friends with a guy (a Pisces) who has a strange insatiable need to chase after involved women with Piscean charts. I wish I knew the exact astrology because it probably would prove interesting, but even if I did, I don’t quite know enough astrology to explain it, but…
So far he has been attracted to several married women (all of them as far as I know have lots of Pisces/Neptune stuff in their chart), all but one with kids. I stopped talking to him when he ran off and lost interest because I wasn’t being seduced away from my husband. I just wanted a friend. He even LIED and said he didn’t want more than that, but sure enough, as I suspected, he ran off to try to lure some other married woman away from her hubby.
I am pretty sure his desires are unconscious, since he doesn’t seem to be into astrology as far as I know. He simply profiled us somehow and latched onto some Neptunian feeling of longing or emptiness and tried to get off on it…
Crazy…
