Astrology At The Movies - Meet Jeffrey Kishner
Outtakes and Various Other Sundries…
If there is King of people who write about astrology and film, then Jeffrey Kishner is the man. He writes about the astrology of actors and movies and I haunt his blog.
I would say I lurk his blog, but that seems to imply I exist on an earthly plane when in fact I feel much ethereal…I feel like an apparition, especially over there!!
Now I imagine this is due some cross-aspect between our charts, but never mind that. Check out his work, because it’s meaty and insightful. He’s got a real niche going here and he chooses interesting subjects. Like Tim Burton, Jim Carrey and
Johnny Depp who he characterizes as a “Messenger from the Gods”.
Or how about an article on Russell Crowe’s Temper? Which he says is bad, by the way and I’m not going to argue with that! Or an article on the movie, Minority Report?
Now separate but related… I came across this thread on node-a-rama, “Astrology Movie Game,” and I thought I ought to tell Jeffrey about it. So this is me, doing that.

You know, I’m staring at this man’s picture up there, and all I can think is that he looks like a male version of you, Elsa. or at least, he looks like the pictures of you that you’ve posted on your blog.
weird. neat, but weird.
Thanks for the links. He’s a great writer!
Ooh, thanks. I started that thread, btw, and I got a kick out of writing those posts. (This is my real name.)
Thanks, Elsa! I feel so appreciative of your post. Sometimes as a writer I don’t get a sense of how I am impacting people, so reading this gives me that extra push I need.
By the way, I can’t find a photo of you, so I’m curious to see the female version of me.
“Whoring Sea Donkey” is a favorite phrase of mine written by salon.com TV critic Heather Havrilevsky.

His profile says he has three blogs, one named “Whoring Sea Donkey”. Of course I got distracted by that, but it turns out to be a dead link. OK. Back I go to check out his ~movie~ blog.
